Pure white with no decals look so cool! That bike is smokin! I just got a 20 inch heritage gt pro performer and getting rid of all the black(almost there) and making it mostly 80% white with just some blue and a touch of pink to match the decals. Lets see this channel grow now.

one of the years or model use to say hunungton beach on them in the front .i customized a2010 whit gt performer to look like a 80.s came out great.beacause i had spent a bunch of money on 2 other bmx bikes and did not want to pay for the almighty real 80,s gt performor..i loved the world tour the most

Love it man, I recently redone my 85 Pro performer in ribbon blue, decals just made it, pro neck seat clamp and chain ring, 85 mallet stem and 84 araya aeros / white tuff 2s some repop brakes but super pleased, watching from Scotland 🏴

Where did you get the mallet headset? That’ll fit in 86? Since did 86 had a different headset and a threaded bolt to hold it on. also, do you have a source for the hardware for the headset?

What is the best way to find a GT Performer? This is the bike always wanted as a kid. A Day Glo pink one with white mags. I keep looking at line but I can’t find them or there are some for like 5000. Where did you get yours? Buy it in parts and rebuild? Thanks. Love your channel.
Do you know of any other nice forks that would go on a 87 gt performer? I have a frame I want to build, those forks are hard to find and when you do people are asking ridiculous prices

Aren't the rear framestand platforms way obsolete? Those were abandoned early on, in favor of axle pegs, and they also damage the paint. Axle pegs for the win.
Same could be said for the flip up fork pegs. Axle pegs all around.

No. 1986 did not come with a GYRO
