- Ward Family Pool Construction Timelapse - Beautiful swimming pool project designed by Mike Farley & constructed by Claffey Pools. This project has it all - fire bowls, outdoor kitchen, stainless steel spill edges, rolled edge spa, swim up bar with table top, along with a place to play basketball. It also has 2 side yards - one that has a year round dog run made specially for the dogs. Full detailed pool tour by Mike coming soon! Photography by Mike & Laura Farley. Finally a pool constructor that uses a fair amount of reinforced concrete. I've seen so many videos on CZcams where they don't even use any. It's cheaper of course but after 5-10 years the pool will have cracks everywhere. This one will last for 25 years plus easy !

Mike Farley SWD ASLA I’m 18 right now, planning on having a $500k for a house in about 10-12 years. Should i just get as much land as possible for landscaping and integrating pools/gardens etc. I need suggestions on like a house to yard ratio.

You guys should try and see if there’s a way to put lights at the bottom of a pool to make the pool glow. Make it glow in gold. That would look amazing. !
It is glowing blue, gold is not one of the LED light colors

Love the time lapse video and the pool. What kind of camera did you use to capture this footage?
Thanks - We used a Brinno Time Lapse camera. It has a waterproof casing which works well for job sites but the quality is not great. Also, some of the pictures are with an iPhone & DJI Phantom.

What type (make and model) of camera did you use. Dig on our pool starts soon would like to do a time-lapse as well.
We use Brinno construction cameras for the time-lapse. The newer model has 1080 which is awesome. You can find them on Ebay or Amazon if buying new.

Thanks - Couldn't put it anywhere else - remember, it is Texas - some people use chillers to cool the pool - no heater required - shade helps!
@@MikeFarleyDesigns We live in Texas too. When we bought this home, we shopped for a south exposure. Had a home once in southwest Florida with a north exposure, That pool was cold 365 days a year. Exposure is everything.

It'd be cool if you included total time to build and cost. So the viewers can have an idea if something like this could be in their budget.

It's an Infloor cleaning system by A&A Manufacturing.

Everyone loves a pool in the summer time, including the dogs. We had hogged the backyard all night taking pictures and they wanted their turn in the pool.
