Why are there none from the first half of the run of the show? 'of all time' isn't the last 15 years. Garrett Morris' "I'm gonna get me a shotgun"? Adam Sandler's "Chanukah Song"? Eddie Murphy's "James Brown's Celebrity Hot Tub" and "Buh'Weet Sings"? Bill Murray's "Lounge Singer"? The Sweeny Sisters? And even sticking to the later half, where is "I Wish It Was Christmas Today"? I mean, some of the ones you mention are great, but a more accurate title would be "top 20 best SNL music videos known by people under 25"?
I could be wrong but those were musical performances, not music videos--don't remember all of them but basically, they weren't shot to mimic a music video were they?

And what about the Lonely Island video Iran. I Ran So Far away wood Fred Armisen as the president of Iran and a cameo by by Adam Levine. Great song and funny as hell

This could have been a Top 50, there are so many to choose from. Jack Sparrow definitely deserves to be in the top 20, maybe even top 5! And it's missing two of my favourites - the Joan Song with Harry Styles, and Great Day with Andy Samberg.

The candle music video is my absolute favorite MV from SNL. Not only is it funny but it has a special place in my heart. Lol my bf watched the music video a couple months before Christmas when I shared it with him on year. It was funny and so relatable.

Lonely Island's "Iran So Far" is one of my all time favorite songs. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, president of Iran at the time (2007), claimed there were no gay people in Iran, so of course they've got Andy singing him a love song. The music is hauntingly beautiful, the message political but funny as hell, they've got Adam Levine and Jake Gyllenhaal, and I get chills every time Andy sings "I know you say there's no gays in Iran, but you're in New York now baby!"

I haven't seen all of the music videos on this list, they are all hilarious! "Dick in a Box" and "On a Boat" are, of course, iconic, but there were some new favorites that I will check out later. I wished that you would have added "Mother Lover" as that is probably my favorite Lonely Island song. Also, thanks for mentioning "Come Back, Barack" as that was so well done and poignant for the era.
