Thanks for making a video that is short and straight to the point!

  • @frankbrowning328

The Federal load has been the most accurate for me in all the 7.62X39mm guns I have and have had. I'll be interested to see how it works on a hog

  • @okienightstalker3145

Cale and the crew at Murf's are good people!

Have the Gen2 in 5.56 and love it. Will be buying the 7.62x39 next week. The shop I deal with has both the Ruger Ranch 7.62 Soviet in the Gen2 and original (Gen1?). The Gen1 was priced at $519 and the Gen2 at $559 which made the Gen2 an easy choice, but the Gen1 has been cut to $449, so I am not %100 sure which I am buying now. It will probably the Gen2.

I used the sub-x ammo in a 350 legend this past season to take a deer. Shot it through the vitals at 53 yards and had complete pass through. The deer ran 40 yards and fell over. It’s really quiet and devastating. Great ammo!

  • @andyprairiedog4829

Man, I'm way behind the curve of testing more x39mm ammo. You're doing great with the amount and quality of videos coming out.

  • @clintonlayne9253

That's a nice looking Rifle.I have a Ruger American ranch in 7.62 x 39. I have had excellent results with Wolf Ammunition. I was totally surprised. The only soft points I have available are some Silver Bear , which I have not used . Keep plugging away those coyotes.

I've had the gen 1 for a few years now. It changed my opinions on the 7.62x39. I put a Boyd's laminate thumbhole stock on it. I just ordered the Gen 2 in 5.56. This gen 2 looks much nicer. I hope I don't need to upgrade the stock like gen 1.

  • @RanchTop

Good video man. MOA for 5 shots is pretty stinking respectable for a hunting rifle. Glad that it is still treating you well!

  • @cleetismcdougall5425

I haven’t tried the Hornady Subsonic in this caliber, it was good in 300BO.

  • @shooter-observer1

it would be cool to see a side by side comparison between this and the cz 600 you have, and the gen 1, as far as general accuracy. good stuff!

  • @cleetismcdougall5425

I’ve never tried it but Remington 7.62x39 Core-Lokt 125g might be worth a try.

So far would you say your gen 1 shot a bit better or atleast was less picky when it comes to ammo ?

  • @trynsurviven2440

I’m eager to see how well the Brown Bear does in that rifle.

  • @outdoorswithroostercurrie6984

How is the Trigger on the Gen II. I picked up one the other day just to see how it felt and the Trigger was a little Gritty feeling. I know it wasn’t adjusted all the way down, but I wasn’t too impressed the way it felt as shipped?

  • @PearlWhiteGT

What suppressor are you running? It’s very impressive.

  • @guadalupeskitchen3734

Only 2 of all your different bullets shoot good in that gun. I will pass on buying a gen 2 Ruger.
