In my opinion Chaeyeon here is more comfortable on dancing while chaeryoung is singing. You can hear it in their voice that chaeryoung is much stable than chaeyeon. While in dancing I can see that chaeyeon can give expression in faces unlike chaeryoung who seems bubbly

I really wonder what made JYP choose Chaeryoung over Chaeyeon? At this time as kids I feel as Chaeyeon had the better skills in both singing and dancing which current times I still give dancing to Chaeyeon while singing can be either or but judging by how they get parts in their groups Chaeyeon not only sings better but also raps well. Both can obviously dance and sing but Chaeyeon til this day seems much more dynamic and crisp with her movements. I wonder if it was the age factor or based on looks as those two factors are the only things that would make sense as skill wise both are neck and neck. I also would like to know if Chaeyeon was also on JYP and just left to chase other opportunities after being booted off sixteen or if JYP really only accepted Chaeryoung after they both were eliminated which would really sting for probably both do them as they competed as a team then pitted together which is impossible to compare the two as their so similar and sisters. I know Chaeryoung in IZTY is pretty much set as a consistently performing idol but Chaeyeon really deserves to be an idol just as her sister and deserves the security and promotion under a solid and legit company which if I was JYP I’d maybe even bring Chaeyeon as a solo artist as she has the skills to do so and isn’t very much a Kpop girl group type. She should be the Chungha of IZONE as both were somewhat the underdogs of the show whom aren’t viewed as perfectly proportioned beauties but have probably the best dancing skills both naturally and through practice over all other contestants and in Chaeyeons case she can actually sing very well while being diverse enough to rap and do all other things
Chaeyeon pretty much left on her own though, Im pretty sure about it. Entertainment Companies debuting two sisters in one group is something that wont happen, so in the end, Chaeyeon pretty much left JYP so her sister can debut instead because once a group debuts, the other trainees have to wait a long to time debut in another group or quit in the end to join another company. Chaeyeon pretty much left earlier prior to ITZY's debut to join WM just so it would benefit both the sisters
in my opinion seen from the appearance when they dance. You will understand how JYP judges not just skills, you can see his opinions on Nizi Project. because after watching that i came to understand why Chaeryeong was chosen by JYP I like both (love)
Dwi AR I understand what you’re saying but even if that’s the case IMO (I love both too however...) I think Chaeyeon is the better selection as her dancing is just more polished as JYP stated before and as seen in Produce 48 and IZONE, she sings very very good. Nothing against Chaeryoung but even Chaeyeons personality is better fit for a top idol. Chaeryoung while very talented and adorable doesn’t seem to be as comfortable in general as Chaeyeon is who was hilarious on Produce 48 but even showed to be the very mature and strong leadership type as the motherly member in the IZONE shows. I feel like Chaeyeon got a disadvantage by being the older sister as judges will immediately lean towards the younger one regardless of their talent level at the time cuz they’ll think the younger one has more time to develop. The only reason I care so much tho is I love both sisters whom I think deserve to be top level idols but as we saw with IOI after they finished their one year shared contract the girls all pretty much returned to their expected status being with a small company and once the IOI show hype faded they are nowhere to be seen. I’m reaaaaaally hoping that after Izone is done, Chaeyeon finds a good career path like Chungha as Chungha is pretty much the only IOI member that can be considered a staple in the industry while even the most popular members of IOI have failed to find success whether it be with their group or solo activities. IZONE is worse though cuz I really love all their members and i have a bad feeling that once it’s over we won’t ever get to see the Japanese girls anymore as they’ll go back to the AKB crap :/
