Yes! Thank you for saying that. As a guitar player myself (well….la hack) of course I’m a fan of Hendrix, but Edward was the Hendrix of my generation. So many diehard Hendrix fans say he was so much better than Ed. I don’t think Jimi would have looked at it like a competition. He would have loved Edward’s playing. Not just his solos, but the groove, funkiness and swing of his tight rhythm playing.
One time in the front row - Eddie Van Halen wiped my fake tear under my eye whilst dreams was playing the part that said “so baby dry your eyes” and I was so entranced when he flashed that smile at me eye ball to eyeball- an epic moment 🎸❤️🎸❤️🎸❤️🎸
Only Ed can pull off a tucked in tank top with pastel pink parachute pants, and STILL look cool..On a side note, i had no idea that the VH brothers spoke Dutch. Hilariously cool 👍
There really need's to be a major movie made of the story of this incredible band. We've had a Motley Crue movie, a Queen movie, and even a Def Leppard movie so please mr movie producers, give us a Van Halen movie.
God yes, or a limited series like how they did the Queen's Gambit to fully go into everyone's background and show thier rise to face, I'd freaking love it .....*sighs* a part of me also doesn't fully trust a studio to do them justice either like ...I can imagine them whitewashing Eddie and Alex's background/ignoring they were multiracial, etc.
Donna Summer and Farrah Fawcett died of Cancer and both ladies did not smoke. No matter how you look at it, this will never be a smoke-free planet. The big industries + air pollution are far worse than folks who smoke.
When you're talented and make millions of dollars you can act any way you want to. I heard they used to get $1 million dollars for every concert back in the '80s. So you can be a little goofy and cocky and have a ego. Enough said. What a way to make a lot of money.
If Jimi Hendrix could have seen Eddie play he would have been aamazed and speechless

no shit a vh movie would be so much better Imagine DLR before he was rich and bat shit crazy
@@curtismoff He came from a wealthy family I believe, his father bankrolled the early Van Halen. So DLR was always rich and bat shit crazy.

This is awesome.
Thanks ✌️
I hope 5150 vault comes out.
I would say that Eddie influenced satriani.
Eddie influenced anyone who heard his raw playing....kinda like being the first to see Eve......epic
Of course. He influenced all those players and more..
Soon as the cameras leave they give each one of the girls five bucks
Bunch of clowns, that’s back when they became my favorite band
They always seemed to have a good time ✌️
Yep...Smokin killed that boy....
Who cares all it did was shave 10 of the shity years off his life just like it does everyone else I'm so sick of you snow flakes
Nicotine and alcohol gave us Van Halen.....do not mess with the recipe
Yea Stupido...you tell Eddie that. Wow you go Boy....🤬
