    He got bored of being a doctor and decided there's more to life than being holed up in a hospital for the rest of his life. I love the vascular cardio doc's honesty. It's not what TV programs make it out to be. In the end it's just a job and he saw through the malarky of it all. He's smarter than the whole lot of them.

    Very informative video,another field of medicine to consider.The breakdown and the perspective given by Dr.Webb and Dr.Ashby is awesome.I am 43 years old and have heard more stories about black male and female doctors through these videos than in my entire life.Share these videos with family and friends and especially young people you may know,this could definitely inspire the next-generation of doxtors.Early exposure to oppurtunities couldn't hurt!!!

    Excellent and informative video. I always wondered what was the difference between a Cardiothoracic Surgeon and a Cardiologist. I thought Neurosurgeons make the most. In your video when you interviewed the woman who was a neurosurgeon resident, she stated that on average a neurosurgeon coming out of residency can expect to make between 500k-700k.

      Shae-Nicketo Meeks get into college and strengthen your application for med school. they dont really care about who you shadow in high school so make sure you shadow different physicians in college, gain clinical experience (like being a CNA or volunteering for hospice), and make sure you have a life. they want to know that you are well balanced and not a person who is all about just studying like a robot. Of course a great gpa and mcat make sure to look at the averages for each school you want to go too thats your goal!

    • @samahf1669
      @samahf1669 Před 4 lety

      Shae-Nicketo Meeks learn how to write well; know your biology, chemistry & physiology, math, computer & finance classes. Take the chemistry, biology & physiology classes at local community college while you are attending high school. Read a lot books for fun; I also recomand you to read the autobiography of great scientist Pery Lavon Julian; follow his style; you will become anything you want to be if you have a strong desire to learn like him.

  • @candeffect

    A top rule of MD doctors: never mention diet and nutrition for good health.
    MD doctors need unhealthy people/copays/insurance payments to make 6 to 7-figure incomes.
    Healthy people don't need MD doctors. MD doctors are trained to fix/treat limited issues and are NOT required to know nutrition for prevention in their required yearly education.
    Naturopath doctors are more focused on prevention, but you can learn to be responsible for your health.

    • @issasecretsecret7814
