AHHHH! Sister Star! I've heard this story so many times and it never gets old! I love her. I have never met such a joyful sister. Meeting her is one of my favorite memories from this past year when I rediscovered Catholicism as a 17 year old, and Senior in High School. Truly an instrument of Christ.

God Bless this Sister... she was in our Parish in Russia, but was not able to meet her, since I was in the Philippines the moment the FOCUS were in Russia. I only saw her photos being in our Parish with other youth missionary from FOCUS.
I saw her too in Brazil but from a distance, I was able to say hello to her as well.
Good to see her here as a profess already. As I learned that she entered the convent, I have been remembering her in my unworthy prayers.

I met Sister Star at the Juniorate House for 1 whole week, but I had been at the Novitiate House for a whole 3 weeks. I wish I had spent more time at the Juniorate House or at least split the time half and half. These Sisters are amazing! Became friends with a lot of them, and I feel so blessed to have their friendship. Was with these Sisters for a total of 1 month (Feb 3 - 27, 2015). Such an amazing experience and a blessed one at that. Sadly, God is not calling me to this Order, but I still put my trust in Him.

Nice story, but there is no "Mary Star of Evangelization". Shouldn't someone in this congregation know that? It's one thing to allow people to choose their religious name, but must it not be based in reality?
