Oh wow, I literally live round the corner from these, the police used to have to kick the homeless out daily until they (the police, not the landlord) put the boards up about two years ago, last I heard the owners were willing to accept a offer as little as a pound, they literally can't give the place away because of the amount of issues with the homeless in the area!

My my.... Internet has posts complaining about those empty buildings dating at least back to 2010! Gears of progress do move slowly!
Great video bud. Fully enjoyed watching as im eating my fish and chips. Reasons why a lot of these places never get done up or knocked down and refreshed is because in Britain people struggle to get planning permission. Britain doesn't like change. So these old buildings just rot away and bored children smash them up because their is absolutely nothing for them to do but play computer games or play on phones and doing activities outdoors is cold and wet 90% off the time. In other countries the laws are more relaxed so there's a lot more things to do. Plus everything is expensive in Britain so kids can't afford to go too the cinema or arcade if you got on in your area. So i kind of understand why these places get smashed up in Britain.
The second floor was a drugs den when I explored the building same with the first building you went in
