I don't know grammar of Indian Classical music but love so much. It touches, penetrates the heart... And that's it for me. Rashid Khan sab is one of my favorites. And here his *shyam kalyan * is no different. Long live Ustad sahab with singing throat.
The ultimate, mesmerising voice, its a treat to hear him perform these beautiful ragas, the way he touches the notes and develop the raga is just out of the world...my fav. raga sung by him..

The purity of the Raga Shyam Kalyan must have been observed. And all d ragas does nt need a lot of murkis and surak murak. Listen to the Ustads of Agra and Atrauli-Jaipur Gharanas.
