- this concludes my journey of covering all of the songs that were performed in one of my all time favorite shows, Bocchi the Rock!
i'm planning on dropping two vids around the time of the show's second anniversary (october). Both are gonna be compilations all of my covers put together, but one's gonna have my commentary including tips, insight, and stuff for those who might wanna learn how to play the songs themselves!
sorry this one took way longer to finish than expected lol, not only is it the hardest BTR song on guitar, but also ive been in the process of moving across the US haha
thank you for dropping by!
Ibanez SW761FM Guitar
Yamaha TRBX604 Bass
Alesis Nitro Max Electronic Drum Kit
Fender Mustang Micro Amp
Sweep picking without a pick Is insane
@@user-ee7dr4ir2o it took an insane amount of time to get it down too haha
The multi-instrumentalist i want to become...
(Tips on how to play drums)
im self taught so be wary of my tips 😵💫.
the first song i learned was also from BTR, so jumping ahead in terms of difficulty. i used sheet music and matched the notes on the page to the sounds in the song. "so this note is the snare..." and so on.
slow down the song and bang the sticks with proper timing with it til you are able to perfect it, then speed up and repeat the process. it is much easier than guitar and i've been playing guitar for 12 years. have fun!
im a self taught jazz drummer, so in drum, firstly there's 3 things you need to focus on, they're:
+ technique (basically it's timing, strokes, overall arrangement): you can practice by just try to maintaining tempo, analyzing each part of the drumline, like what the hats, the snare and the kick patern; strokes are also really important, it helps with fills and such, you can practice by buying a drumstick and a drumpad (or just use you mouse pad on a wooden table, it's my set up at home lmao)
+ speed: use basic beats to practice to, just slowly increasing the bpm each time until you feel you're messing up lil bit, that's when you need to work on that
+ groove: idk just use your feelings, it might require you to be a bit advanced with the drum so that you're comfortable with creating sounds from your own mind, overall you need to be natural with the drum, if you know what i mean
Most of your movement is in the wrists, you'll ideally want to hold the stick with your thumb and index (fulcrum) and use your other fingers to "flick" the stick (lever)
@@hunihoonee try keep motion to just your wrists - drummer of 9 years
@@hyperplayability6290tyty ill make sure to keep that in mind!
one man band
nice cover man i love it
Great cover! When I first got into this anime, I wasn’t expecting much but I was so shocked. Being relatable AND good music, good characters?
@@TheSkyOwl thanks! fr this show has it all!
So good! This is what I aim to be. But Kessoku Band songs are tough, haha
@@ricetomeatyou852 you can do it!!!! they are tough for me too haha

@@Kyrli4ek_Rus thanks so much! you can do it, i believe in you!!!
This is otherworldly dedication. Good stuff bro keep it up!
@@noulpo1108 thanks dude!
How long have you been playing guitar? I'm starting to learn guitar and don't know where to start, but seeing you play well like this gives me more motivation 🥰🥰
@@Mew_stay_strong ty! i started back in 2015, but around 2018-2022 i didnt really play at all or try to improve. after watching bocchi i got inspired to pick it up again and really actually get good! have fun!!!!
@@hunihoonee tysm!!
@@Mew_stay_strong btw! in terms of looking where to start, try learning not just chord diagrams, but also tabs to songs with simple guitar riffs that you like.
tabs are kinda like sheet music, but instead the lines on the sheet represent the strings of a guitar. and instead of note symbols, numbers are written on the lines to represent which frets you press at what time. if you check ultimate-guitar.com, you can search almost any song and theres probably tabs for the song youre looking for
thats how i taught myself! but the biggest favor you can do for yourself when learning is to be patient with yourself
Really good cover. It's very pleasant to listen to.
thanks! W nina-chan profile pic!!
That’s a really cool journey ! Good work !

What tabs did you use for the lead guitar? this sounds amazing!
@@L3monJuice here ya go tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/4661429
Ah bro is playing without a pick, fuck me bro 😭
@@iEpiccXI my picks always magically disappear, i had to learn to adapt 🤌🏽
How do you strum without a pick without hurting your fingers?
@@daluven i use a lighter string guage (i havent changed my strings in a while so i dont remember specifically) because it's easier on the fingers. i also play ukulele and dabbled in flamenco/spanish guitar so the strumming technique taught there really forces you to glide your fingertips across the strings! also i leave a liiiiittle bit of nail length uncut but nothing crazy
@@hunihoonee Thanks for the info!
피크없이 연주라니 대단합니다요잉 'ㅅ' b
thanks, i learned this way because i always misplace my picks(◞‿◟)
