No idea if you guys heard before about Rhett Lawrence, Mariah Carey's producer, that he discovered Morissette on wish bus on a duet with Arnel Pineda, Journey's lead singer. Rhett was on wish bus PH on a live interview where he signified interest in signing Mori to his record label He even gave Mori a tour in his music studio in the US, Capitol records, at a time when they were recording sound tracks for the Oscars. Unfortunately, the record deal went south due to covid and that his mother and aunts got sick he had to drop his commitments. But you're right sir it would be a disaster for the world to not know about Morissette.

Thanks so much for checking out this brilliant song Ye Dunya by Karakoram. The lead singer of the band Sherry Khattak has been doing the screams for a while now. But I do understand what you are referring to in reference to maintaining the vocal health of singers. You obviously have a lot of experience under your belt and I’m glad that I came across your channel to learn a thing or two as a viewer. The song is spiritual in nature and the struggle of mental health is so real today…. Karakoram band reminds me Linkin Park a bit. Well, Chester is unmatchable and will remain a legend always but definitely, the mental health struggle was quite prevalent in his life too. Anyhow, I am thankful that you both checked out this brilliant song from Pakistan.
You should check out Phir Milenge from Coke Studio 14 (the last song of the season). The skinny, first rapper that you saw in Ye Dunya rapping is part of the duo rapper group Young Stunners and you will see them both perform with one of the biggest Pakistani iconic singer Faisal Kapadia. I am positive that you both will love his tone like nobody’s business. Phir Milenge is another gem 👏
Also, Mehram from Coke Studio 14 is a beautiful ballad sung by two singers (one of whom just won the Grammy as first Pakistani singer ever to win it - Arooj Aftab).

Any Morissette fan can and has said that she is in a league of her own and can't be compared to any other singer / performer. The 90's are over. A new queen has been crowned. I really love you guys!! It is like watching drunk vocal coaches react, in a good way.
The question for any artist who wants to be at the top is....what are you willing to risk and sacrifice to get there. I don't know Morissette personally but i've been in the entertainment biz most of my life and I know people who are at every level of it. Morissette recently signed with new management. Hopefully they have 'VISION'. My own opinion...if Morissette wants to conquer the "western world" she is going to need to move here. She is going to need to sign with a 'major label'. I believe that within 4 years Morissette will be the 17 person to have accomplished the EGOT (Emmy, Grammy,Oscar and Tony). NO ONE except Morissette and perhaps people in her inner circle know what she truly wants....time will tell if she wants to be the Queen of the Philippines or the Queen of the WORLD! Make no mistake about it....the clock is ticking!
I agree with your sentiments and am really torn about how I feel personally. On the one hand, she is a generational talent who deserves to be more widely recognized. On the other hand, I remember seeing Mariah's and Whitney's record labels totally burn them out and have a hand in the decline of their vocal health. I don't want the same thing to happen to Mori. I guess for me, I just want whatever decision-making is involved to be truly hers and for her to be genuinely happy with her career.
