Myself and my cousin as Kili and Thorin at the 4:30 mark!!
I was in tears because of this video, I loved to see how their eyes lit up everytime they talked about their passions and hobbies.
Richard Taylor seems like an incredible person. I actually cosplayed Legolas at the movie premiere of The Battle of the Five Armies it was awsome.
Really nice to see the people behind the costume and props to be so supportive of their fan's work. Especially after that comic book artist dissing cosplayers. I really don't see how someone could dismiss or downplay something fuelled by passion, even if lots of cosplayers these days use it to make money
This video brought me to tears. I got into cosplay about 3 years ago and it showed me entire other world. I want to be able to do costume design or something along those lines. Seeing that people have done it gives me hope.
That legolas cosplayer though
yea right i wanna know where is that wig from
Awesome video and even more badass ending!
And this video puts it all into cosplay perspective. Eloquently done, and to the point. Geeks have the biggest, greatest, most creative hearts and minds, and they shall truly inherit the Earth. No one does cosplay better than Tolkien fans. Beautifully executed costumes. And to have Richard Taylor acknowledge and appreciate your costume is the greatest compliment you could ever receive. Keep on keepin on, love what you do, and keep inspirational videos like this one coming!! Thank you so much for posting this!
This is your coolest video so far. I love the insight that you presented from the artisans' point of view which shows their respect for the cosplayers' tribute to their craft.
All the best, C.
What a great piece!
Excellent. Maybe close the aperture a stop or two. Narrow dof is nice but it can be too narrow.
Awesome guys.
Great!
The Geeks will truly inherit the earth.
