Respect to the young hustlers. Every location is different. But if you have the right crew members, at times its "fun". Once you work at a fast food, you'll respect the workers that go through alot of bs
i worked at mcdonalds as the maintenance guy morning shift work wasnt hard but dang the environment was toxic i didnt have people like you that were around my age they were all older people and some be thinking they own the place did one week then dipped lmaoo never working there again.
I know how that feels when you're legit never talked to they act like they're in highschool trying to be the popular kids or something y'all ain't special tho just rude🤦🏻♀️✋😑
I worked at McDonald's before and it wasn't a good experience. Management there was ridiculous and the customers... some made my day and some ruined it, that's all I can say about them. But the friendly and comedic atmosphere, like what's in this video, can make the world a better place.

@@krallimade quick question, is kfc better then mc donalds? I mean they are probably less busier which is a plus but how are their work ethics and how do they treat their employees compared to mc donalds. Also is there any heavy lifting? Because thats the main reason I’m quitting from retail
@@arman_llc624 I have no experience working at mcdonalds but in my country kfc-s are more chill with less traffic than macki d's. I actually quit after a short amount of time due to personal reasons, but in that time I worked as a cashier, and it was cool, more customers than I expected tho.
There is some lifting, you have to pull the plates with cooked chicken on em at put them in their place. I wouldn't consider it heavy but having a weak wrist made it hard (had to pull it with one hand). If you work in the kitchen or in the grill area I imagine there is more lifting.
The staff was pretty accepting, especally my managers. They did put me in register on my own after an hour of touring and explaining, which was unexpected, but I handled it pretty well (the register system is somewhat easy-to-use). I made some mistakes tho, but the guy who gave me the tour helped out if I asked. Around lunch time customers started coming like crazy, which made everyone tense. That's where a few people stopped being tolerant and started being kind of a douche, but it didn't bother me much.
Overall it's a pretty good job, especially the dealing with customers part. There are many downsides tho: no breakes (only a 30 min. lunchbreak), some douche customers and colleagues, standing all the time, stress, danger (working in the kitchen and grill) and the very low pay.

I got a reply same day as I applied and have an interview Wednesday. I’m not sure if it’s because they need people or because they saw my age, 28, and thought I’d be a good fit lol. Sitting in the house all the time gets old and I am ready to just have a job and get out of the house. I haven’t worked in 2 years due to mental health/ chronic pain/migraines but I am slowly starting to get better and ready to get back to work. I appreciate the video shows a good idea of how a day is working there. I hope I get it!

@@qt17 tysm 🥺 the manager looked so strict tbh and kept questioning me about me being able to do it since this will be my first fast food job. I really hope I can make it but being on the register is giving me the most anxiety 🥲 I’ve seen that many people don’t get trained they just have them figuring it out but I really hope it’s not like that for me.
@@aydelinsanchez8350 if u don’t get trained to work register there’s a lot of CZcams videos that helped me (I didn’t get trained💀) also working register isn’t as scary as I think sure it takes time to get used to talking to the people but after a couple of days and it’s a lot simpler sometimes beware of lunch hours 😿
@@qt17 it’s barely my fourth day and I wanna quit 😿 today they had me taking orders and I’m still not confident and they also had me doing all the coffees in the morning all on my own at the same time and all the coffees kept accumulating and I was so scared and anxious bc I didn’t know what to do. I hate it sm but I wanna last till I save up a little bit. Then all the managers don’t help you they just make kinda rude comments with other employees or they don’t say anything but they look at you so weird about it
I love how they're not required to wear hairnet. Because in the Philippines we do

I'm doing great!! I love my job, coworkers, and vibe! Free meals area plus, but the friendly work space and pretty lax work makes it so much better than other places I have worked. I love the McD's fam ❤
Edit: I've already learned drive thru, window, making drinks/coffee drinks, grill, and fries!

we also dont get free food on breaks we usually have to pay out of our money we get discounts but its not enough

As a worker Mcdonald's Russia I have to say the atmosphere in the team is more friendly than ours. Also i noticed that you don't have a large number of orders and fewer employees than we do. Do you have a night cleaning team? I worked in this position and my manager would have taken out my whole brain for such a dirty restaurant. Although judging by the UHC cabinets, your restaurant is old, but the front panel of the fryers is a horror.

It depends on where your store is. In my country each new individual is assigned a crew trainer. Where I work she works and the days I work she works. I’ve been working at McDonald’s for 4 weeks now and she still helps me here and there.

who teach and instruct you to do this job. i want to do a job but now i get a lot of thing to do. . could you tell em your timeline of working at this . from interview to now.
So the interview process is quite simple just go to mchire.com and set up a interview for available McDonald’s. Next you go to the interview that ask questions but not very deep they also ask about your social security number and have a checklist for you to make off things you would do while working at McDonald’s. Then you have orientation which is 2-4 hours long (depends) but that’s where you learn what your going to be doing and how to work the stations they will give you a location on what place orientation is going to be held at and etc. Finnaly you start whenever you want after orientation they will plan our your schedule with you to make it as fair and achievable as possible. (This is all from my experience but my McDonald’s is actually pretty decent and I like all the people I work with so as long as your McDonald’s is reliable and all that you should follow the same process as me😄)

I don’t have experience cause it’s my first job but they will ask you questions like why do you want to work there and why should they choose you. Chances are if you got the interview you'll get the job, I had my first day today , it was nowhere near as bad as I thought, rush hour is a little stressed but as long as you do your part everything is fine and you pick things up very quickly. The worst thing is standing all day and getting achy legs but its good fun as most employees are young and energetic 😀

i work different times but the usual busy times were 11AM-1PM, 3PM-4PM, and 6PM-8PM (depends tho). i don’t work in the morning so i don’t know.
