How comfortable would you say it is for a tall dude (6'2-6'3)?
It is a nice car but it is a shame that Mclaren hasn't used the active
Hydropneumatic suspension of the 12c. Nobody seems to have noticed,
actually people seem to like the bumpier ride!!! I wish people were
more interested in mechanical technology. A 1955 DS Citroen has more
sophistication in mechanics than most cars on the road today in 2016.
When a car rides and handles well people seem to say it is too boring,
they seem to like to turn stability control etc off and have the back
hang out on corners and bump and down as it is more exciting..its also
s..l..o..w..e..r....

I've been thinking exactly the same thing. If ever there would be a perfect application for the active pneumatic suspension, a "comfort" sports would be it...or one would think...
simon ogden I get the sense this comment is copy/pasted. Or there is a glitch in the matrix. But i agree. Suspension in the 12C onwards is second to none so a shame it didnt make its way into the lower end McLarens too. Not that the 570's is bad.

Why can't the engine bay be opened?
Confused by the bit where you say you can't open up the engine bay, does the whole shell come of at McLaren instead ?
It's not designed for the the owner/ everyday person to be able to access it. You would have to take it in to a dealership/garage to gain access. In other words, it going to require some tools. I'm not sure what the exact process or parts removed would be for access.

its a shame such a beautiful car on the exterior have such a ugly interior not very well implemented they could do alot better, if a had the loot for such a thing i would choose its rival sorely because of the interior.
You know you can spec the interior. They don't all come in that colour.

I see what you mean. That giant screen probably needs some getting used to. As far as interiors go I think Pagani, Koenigsegg, and to some degree Mercedes have the best interiors. Looks like Mclaren has gone for the minimalist look.
I love the minimalist look, I like this interior way more than the interior of any Pagani for example. However I wouldn't call Pagani's interior ugly just because I don't like it (just like you're doing with this car)
Mario F. Agreed. I'm not fond of Pagani interior design. Way too fussy and over the top. Which is odd for a company who specialise in design, as opposed to engineering like with Koenigsegg. My biggest beef with McLaren isn't the design but the sluggish Android based infotainment system which still looks as primitive as it did in the 12C. McLaren need to dump it entirely and do their own.
