4:20 good lord. That’s the first I’ve seen a good full shot of your property. As an east coast man, I can say you’re truly blessed. What a beautiful place.
I loved that truck from the first time i saw it on the channel. That was long before your daughter was even a blink in your eye and you I believe we're still a part-time government employee. Some vehicles are just built right. Then of course you have to treat them right too.
We are similar in age. Just like you had to start over about five years ago, and this was your first truck, I’m starting over as well and if you can just say a prayer for me to have the perseverance that the lord blessed you with to be successful again. Love your channel.
I bought an 91' S-10 extended cab for $1,900 back in 2001 when I was 17... and its still chugging along to this very day. Get yourself a pickup truck, folks. They come in handy more then you know
We have a truck like that-2006 Chevy Colorado. We bought it new and have held onto it for 20 years. Needs some TLC occasionally but has been a workhorse, though a small one.
That's truck deal is cool. You had mentioned that you purchased it down on 82nd. Anyone in our area knows if you go down there, expect to be screwed. YEA, you won and it's still going strong.
love the style man, truly form follows function! Reminds me of my dad back when he was building our house 20 years ago. He used to take some old jeans and cut them super short for workin in the hot summer days. He really couldn't care less about what people thought about his clothes, if only more people would have that mentality... Greetings from far Belgium
I have a 03 250 exactly like your 01, my work truck is a 2016 xl 250 and have a new 2024 xl250 I think I like driving the 03 the best,to me the interior is the most comfortable without a bunch of useless garbage and screens
your patience dealing with the final board not fitting is incredible, i would have thrown something into orbit and been headed back to town for another.
I usually don't comment, but I've never seen potato chips served with tacos. I'm from Texas, so tacos come either by themselves, or with rice and beans. Not hating or anything, it just a little unusual to me. Lol. I guess I need to try it.
I mean chips and salsa... Yes... But corn chips. When he mentioned the owner went to Portland for potatoes, I was thinking some kind of spicy Mexican potato side dish or they added potatoes to the tacos... and then he said chips. I like chips and I wouldn't hate getting them with tacos but it is kind of weird.
Consider that potatoes and tomatoes and corn and peppers, all are native to the Americas, and 3 are also in the Nightshade family. The interaction makes geographic sense. Interesting thing is that when corn was introduced to China they cut down so many forests to plant it that there was a huge erosion problem. Another thing about corn is that it is one plant which prefers the Carbon 14 isotope, so eating more corn and corn based products (high fructose corn syrup) and corn fed animals, raises the relative levels of Carbon 14 in our bodies. This will fool future archeologists when they do Carbon 14 dating on us, we will seem much younger. So that futile pursuit of youth may have a bit of a twist.
The Ford V10 is one of the best, strongest gas engines ever made. As long as you stayed ahead of the maintenance schedule and didn't allow the plugs to get seized up.
east coast man approves. tough to beat the ole v10 it will be around for years to come. if i were closer id do complimentary neighborly tune ups via ( northern diesel) on the house , for my buddy cody who hasnt forgotten his roots. we are the same ppl. always helping each other makes the world go round, (were we go 1 we go all)
I probably don’t agree with you on many things, but love your workshop and am really entertained by how much you baffle the folks neither of us agree with.
In retrospect maybe you should have done the math and started from the cabin and worked out? I’m not on site, so it’s only an observation. The deck is gonna look great! Cheers from Tokyo!
in the UK we call a "ladder rack" a roof rack, as a roof rack is not just for ladders. it is interesting what different countries call different thing lol
I think of it as a roof rack when it's on a van or SUV. However, it's pretty rare to have one of those racks on a pickup truck unless you're carrying ladders because the bed will normally fit anything else.
I am currently finishing up a surprise bathroom remodel, and looking at your tool organization definitely gives me the fizz. My careless unorganized system had me beginning the day searching for simple things tape measure ect.. I aspire to have my tools organized and simplified for whatever I'm working on. Act accordingly and god bless.
Hearing him talk about how the taqueria makes everything themselves I'm just like, "Yeah... And? Isn't that what a Mexican restaurant is?" 😂 I guess were just spoiled here in Texas.
You could always split the difference between two boards. Instead of having one super narrow board, you trimmed down the width of two boards to get them to fit.

I totally hear ya on the 2pm, let's just go in and call it a day. Especially when I have morning errands to run, and sometimes don't get started until 2pm. And I don't have a river to jump in.

Ain’t that the truth? Only reason I don’t have a new truck is that my
Current one is paid for and is repetitively low maintenance… as most ranger are.
That is the truth

Those early v10s are some of the best trucks. We have two in our company, one with 640k and the other has 490k, both are 100% original.
Wow!
I’ve heard that those trucks were very reliable, I’d imagine they have a really big appetite for gas though!

The v10 is underrated in my opinion work horse and a great engine for longevity.
That is and was a great mill. Hopefully they can get back up to 100% soon.
I had the same one but single cab, used to say forrest service on the side. We called it the milk truck
Had a 02 F250 with the 7.3 for a long time. Used it for the farm and contracting work. Love the thing very much.
