It’s cool watching people catch fish back to back, but nothing like showing the raw struggle and stress, and truth of what it’s really like out there when your grinding. My favorite part of that tourney was u, hallman and soukup on live. That was awesome. U have become one of my favorites and those guys are from Oklahoma where I’m from and have fished against hallman a bunch at a local lake. Digging the production
I love the beginning of the season. All of my favorite FIshing Content creators give me plenty to watch. Another great vid Chris. Safe Travels and good luck out there.
Id be cool to see you do some instructional vids on all the main techniques. You recently did the punching one.. Do a flipping one... swimjigs...dropshots...texas rigs... swimbaits.. crankbaits... jerkbaits.. etc etc. Easy content to make...but I'd like to hear your advice on how and when you use these techniques and what brands you use.
Nice video Chris! I fish a lake in Orlando, Florida similar to Okeechobee with the tall grass. Nothing like flipping a jig into that tall grass and pulling out an 8 lb'er! I learned a little bit more watching this video so I may be changing my technique up just a little. Thanks for the awesome content and good luck in the next tournament! 🤙

Lol that’s a Chemex Ottomatic… an expensive way to automate making pour over coffee. Basically has a timer that slows it down and lets the bloom process occur. It’s worth it if you are a coffee nut

Can you let us in on the Kahle hook secret? is that something you do when your fishing a stick bait weightless? Curious to your logic behind that choice. Great video as always.
If you ever look at the shiner guys in Florida, kinda the same thing. Less bait fouling and less missed fish. The ones I use are no longer made, from the early 2000s out west, but I’m hoping we can nail the same style and make it under the Googan Gold series in conjunction with Hayabusa

Haha that’s an expensive “Chemix Ottomatic” but it makes the perfect cup of coffee. Basically an automated pour over machine. It’s got a timer in it that allows it to bloom properly

Googan baits needs a chunk style bait with bandito bug “pinchers”
So basically a fatter bodied bs digi bug?! Personally I think the bug is perfect… I absolutely crush it using their soft plastics. I have much better success using their plastics than anything else. Can’t say the same about their hard baits, but I love their soft plastics. I do much better with Megabass, LC, and 6th sense hard baits
Why hasn't BASS been back to the west coast? The Delta and Clear Lake? 2 amazing fisheries and they always get ignored by the majors
