    Let’s see how to make rava samosa puri today. You must be thinking samosa puri? What is this combination? These are puris in samosa shape!! Surprised, aren’t you? But believe me, if you make these once, you will just love them and make it again and again. This is a very easy and simple recipe. It is a real quick recipe that has a good shelf life. We are using neither wheat flour nor maida. As the name suggests, the basic ingredient is rava or suji. This a good option for any time hunger of kids or evening snack after school or a perfect option for travelling. It doesn’t need lot many ingredients. You can easily make it from very few ingredients those are readily available in your pantry. The main thing is these don’t turn too oily. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me.     Ingredients:
    • 1 cup fine Rava / Suji
    • Salt to taste
    • 4 tbsp hot Oil
    • Hot Water as needed
    • 2 tsp Red chili powder
    • 1/4 tsp black Salt
    • 1/4 tsp Chat masala
    • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
    • 1 tsp powdered Sugar
    • Oil for frying
    Method:
    • Mix rava, salt and hot oil well with spoon first and add a little hot water at a time to knead soft
    dough.
    • Cover and rest the dough for about 15-20 minutes.
    • For making masala for these puri mix red chili powder, black salt, chat masala, cumin powder and
    powdered sugar well together. Masala is ready.
    • Knead the dough well once and take small portion from it.
    • Make it smooth and even and roll out a poli from it. The poli should be neither too thin or too
    thick.
    • Cut strips from it and take one of them.
    • Cut each strip into triangles.
    • Heat up oil on medium heat in a pan and drop the triangles into it.
    • Fry the samosa puri well on medium heat until it gets nice golden color from both sides.
    • When the samosa puri is fried well from both sides, take them out, drain excess oil and transfer
    them into a dish.
    • Sprinkle the masala on it and toss well. Rava samosa puri is ready.
    • Store them in an airtight container when these cool down completely.
