  • The Kingsport City Schools Board of Education held its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at the KCS Administrative Support Center. Several key items were discussed, including:

    00:03:33 • Recognition of a former 8th Grade Robinson Middle School student named the winner in the National Civics Bee Tennessee State Finals competition;

    00:09:56 • Recognition of the Rotary Club of Kingsport for their book donation of "Grace and Grumpy: A tail of Giving;"

    00:16:40 • Approval of Student Drug Testing procedures;
    00:32:22 • Approval of Districtwide Community Eligibility Provision (CEP); and

    The next session of the Board of Education will be a meeting on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 6 p.m. The meeting will take place in the Tennessee Room of the Administrative Support Center (400 Clinchfield Street, Kingsport, TN).
