My wife and I made these burgers exactly as Chef Tom detailed. The results were delicious and all three of my picky little eaters loved them. I made a note to make extra sauce next time as everyone wanted to dip into it. The garlic ciabatta bread was especially loved and we are working that into more Italian dishes. i think what would have put this over the top would put some fried onions or caramelized onions.
