- Julian "J3PO" Pollack demos the Meris Mercury 7 Reverb FX pedal. All sounds made with the Mercury 7 and Prophet 6 (no FX engaged on the keyboard).
This pedal is perfect for not only your basic plate and cathedral verbs, but also for other-worldly sound design.

I'd watch the shit out of you doing a series on the various components of sound engineering, synthesisers, etc. I don't know enough about this stuff.
Julian+Meris= awesomeness
Wow! Beautiful! I just got a Werkstatt, and I'm waiting for my Crave to get here. I'm trying to find a good sounding reverb, that's not too expensive, or complicated. I'm finding myself way down the rabbit hole, in my search. Thanks!
The sounds are so rich... beautiful! ♥
Awesome demo Julian... incredible tones on this !
Beautiful stuff man! I'm still new to the pedals game but this one sounds just incredible...
Very nice demo!
The best thing about this demo, apart from the sounds, is that it isn’t full of useless commentary!! Thanks!
Bravo!!!
Hello,
I really like what you do. I wanted to have your opinion on a question: Nord has integrated a new reverb section in the Nord Wave 2 which seems very beautiful (we notice it in particular on your patches made for the Nord Wave 2). In your opinion, does this new section compare somewhat to what high-end reverbs like the Meris can offer? Thank you for your reply.
The intro music reminds me of “The Undoing” soundtrack
can you go over the set up quick?
1:30
Sounds a bit cold and metallic, not as warm as OTO or blackhole e.g. But, hey the P6 sounds so fantastic, especially at 1:40!
I found that for whatever reason the merc7 added gain to the transients which ended up boosting high frequencies and sorta muffling the low frequencies. Most noticeably on synths, didn’t seem to affect guitar as much.
@@westfallian2570 and did you find this a positive or negative thing?
@@tendingtropic7778 I ended up selling it. I still think it was a nice pedal. If I kept it I would have run synths through like an Aux on a mixer or something and had the pedal fully wet and mixed the dry/wet on the mixer.
