Tommy was 0 years old when this song was released, -1 year in fact. But as we all know he has a penchant for eighties rock music! The guitar? Europe guitarist Kee Marcellos very own! Well - not any more. Now it belongs to Tommy...
Thought the song was 84 and Tommy 87. All good though. It’s all great stuff. Have great weekend. Wonder what other previous special guitars tommy has besides Gary Moore’s
They started as a band named Force in a suburb north of Stockholm 1978. Europe was first launched as a band name in 1982 just before they entered the competition Rock-SM, which they won in December 1982 to record their first album. They were big in the 80's and som part in the early 90s but went on a hiatus when the Grunge hit the market. They reunited again in 2004, and the rest is history as they have created some great albums again since they reunited. The guitar Tommy played on was Kee Marcello's guitar. Kee Marcello was the guitarist that replaced John Norum (the original guitarist) in 1987. This song however was written with John Norum in the band. John Norum was reunited with Europe in 2004. Tommy is born in 1987. The man that met Tommy was the reactor @OldSkuleNerd
This song is great 80's. I think this was the greatest time for music ever! I am so glad someone else doesn't know how to telegram him back. Guess that shows our age. He seems to be such a nice sweet person. I would just give anything to meet him. He is the greatest singer around! 😊
Wow! Gorgeous cover of a great band! Love Tommy’s intensity and joy, that he really loves what he is doing! And of course his hilarious vocals and guitar playing! Friday was also the day for releasing his Gary Moore album on Spotify. So for me the day was all his❤️🎶🎸Thanks for a nice reaction❣️Greetings from Sweden
Europe 🌍 has so many great songs and the fact that Tommy chose this one is of course fantastic! We can't complain with his covers, he really rocks here 🪨 🎸🖤 Wish you a wonderful 🍀 weekend 🍁🍂🍄🍃
What a nice thing to listen to on the way home after a long day. SuesueandtheWolfman and Tommy. I knew this morning this guitar had a story but didn’t remember till seeing here. Song came out in 84 the year I escaped high school. Seems so long ago. Have a nice evening and a peaceful weekend. Take care. 🙏🙏🙏
Wolf hasn't tried to cook those egg shakers yet?? lol This song was on the same album as The Final Countdown, and Carrie, in '86. Since you mentioned more Sabaton, I don't think you have done Winged Hussars yet.
Tommy seams like such a nice guy, and have contacted me a cuple of times, but I don’t know how to ”😮telagraf ” him back. At least I think it’s him. But I don’t need anything ” Moore”, than he’s covers every Friday, it really lights up my weekend, or any day really 😃😍❤️❤️❤️…

That is a scammer contacting you. Tommy has warned about them several times. So just ignore.
The guitar is Kee Marcelo in Europe that he used in some of the tracks. The musicvideo for this song he is in but he actually was not the guitarist when they recorded it. Joey Tempest played almost everything when it first was out on the B-side of On the Loose. When it came out on the final countdown record there was a newer version that Kee was in together with original guitarist John Norum
That guitar Tommy plays on is Europe's former guitarist' Kee Marcello's old guitar. 😃
coincidence? most likely
Eüröpe is a full time Metal band in another Universe

I took my daughter to see Europe in concert in Dallas in 2016. They played this one of course. Still sounded pretty good.
What a cool memory! 💜
