बचपन मे हमने किताबो में गांधीजी की सिर्फ अच्छाइयाँ ही पढ़ी थी। मेरे मन मे गांधी जी के प्रति बहुत सम्मान था| काफी समय बाद जब हमने school के course से हटकर अन्य किताबो से गांधीजी के इतिहास को जाना, तब उनका बुरा पक्ष भी मेरे सामने आया| (पूना पैक्ट, अंबेडकर बनाम गांधी, मैंने गांधी को क्यों मारा)आदि कुछ books के नाम ही याद हैं| गांधीजी दलितो और निम्न वर्ग के लोगो की उन्नति के पक्ष मे नही थे|सुभाष चंद्र जी ने उनके कारण अपने पद से इस्तीफा दिया। उन्होंने कभी हिंदुओ के सभी वर्गो को एकता मे बांधने की कोशिश नही की| अंबेडकर जी जैसे महान व्यक्ति से भी गांधीजी के बहुत वैचारिक मतभेद रहे हैं| उन्होंने हिंदू -मुस्लिम एकता के नाम पे मुस्लिम समुदाय के लोगो को आवश्यकता से अधिक महत्व दिया और कभी भी निम्न वर्ग के लोगो के अधिकारों के लिए कोई कदम नही उठाया| गांधीजी अगर चाहते तो भगत सिंह, सुखदेव की फांसी की सजा रुकवा सकते थे, पर उन्होंने ऐसा नही किया|क्योंकि उन्होंने आजादी के लिए गांधीजी के शान्ति और अहिंसात्मक तरीको को नही अपनाया। हम सब जिस पाकिस्तान से घृणा करते हैं। वही पाकिस्तान जब कश्मीर पर हमला कर के हमारे भारतीय सैनिको को मार रहा था, उस समय गांधीजी, पाकिस्तान को 55 करोड़ रुपये देने के लिए, court के फैसले के विरुद्ध अनशन पे बैठे थे| नि:संदेह उन्होंने शुरुआत मे देश के हित मे भी कार्य किये हैं,पर धीरे धीरे उनकी देशभक्ति तानाशाही मे बदलती जा रही थी। उनकी जिद के कारण हमने अपने कई महान वीरों को खो दिया|, इसी कारण बाद मे जनता का बड़ा हिस्सा उनसे द्वेष रखने लगा था| हम गोडसे जिंदाबाद तो नही बोलते , लेकिन गांधीजी के लिए जो सम्मान पहले मेरे मन में था, वो अब नही |

Gandhi's core ideal was Ahimsa (Non-violence). I agree with the ideology. But he took it to extreme. So much so that according to Gandhi, self defence too was a form of Himsa (Violence). Now this philosophy is stupid. Let me quote him: "Hitler killed five million Jews. It is the greatest crime of our time. But the Jews should have offered themselves to the butcher’s knife. They should have thrown themselves into the sea from cliffs. I believe in hara-kiri. I do not believe in its militaristic connotations, but it is a heroic method. That would have been heroism. It would have aroused the world and the people of Germany to the evils of Hitler’s violence, especially in 1938, before the war. As it is they succumbed anyway in their millions.” You see, what he thought? Apparently, by committing suicide, the Jews would have died a heroic death. So, Jews should have neither fought back nor tried to escape, because then there wouldn't be any difference between them and Hitler.

Gandhi's core ideal was Ahimsa (Non-violence). I agree with the ideology. But he took it to extreme. So much so that according to Gandhi, self defence too was a form of Himsa (Violence). Now this philosophy is stupid. Let me quote him:
"Hitler killed five million Jews. It is the greatest crime of our time. But the Jews should have offered themselves to the butcher’s knife. They should have thrown themselves into the sea from cliffs. I believe in hara-kiri. I do not believe in its militaristic connotations, but it is a heroic method. That would have been heroism. It would have aroused the world and the people of Germany to the evils of Hitler’s violence, especially in 1938, before the war. As it is they succumbed anyway in their millions.”
You see, what he thought? Apparently, by committing suicide, the Jews would have died a heroic death. So, Jews should have neither fought back nor tried to escape, because then there wouldn't be any difference between them and Hitler.
