Who are the Essene?
The Essenes were an ancient religious and ascetic group who lived in Judea around the Second Temple period, approximately starting in the 2nd century BC. to the 1st century AD. This group is known primarily through the historical accounts of authors such as Philo of Alexandria, Josephus, and Pliny the Elder, among others. They are presumed to have produced some of the scrolls found among the famous Dead Sea Scrolls, which offer important information about their lives, beliefs and religious practices.
The Essenes were a community that had abandoned the vanities of the world. They lived in isolated communities, generally in desert areas, and dedicated themselves to prayer, meditation, the practice of purification and agricultural activities. They had elevated themselves spiritually and had achieved quite substantial mystical knowledge. The Essenes were the first to choose not to have slaves or servants. They lived near the shores of lakes and rivers, far from towns and cities, and there were no rich or poor in their community because these conditions were considered deviations from their law. Their philosophy and way of life included a simple and harmonious way of living with all creatures, their spirits, and the land. They practised fasts and sacred rites and became famous for wearing white tunics; for this reason, they are also called "the great White Brotherhood".
The Essenes referred to themselves as Essenes, meaning "Sons of the Sun"; in this, we find links with the so-called heretical Pharaoh, Akhenaten, who abandoned the ancient Gods in favour of Aten, represented by the solar disk. The Essenes had different and specific tasks depending on personal abilities; some followed the ascetic path, others travelled as healers and mystics, still others dedicated themselves to the study of sacred books and disciplines such as medicine and astronomy.
Admission to the community required a one-year probationary period, three years before initiation and seven years of training before full access. The Essenes disappeared as a distinctive group in the 1st century AD, but their historical impact and way of life have left a lasting imprint on the understanding of ancient traditions and religions.
What are Egyptian Essene Therapies?
Egyptian Essene Therapies is an Energy Healing Modality inspired by the Egyptian and Essene philosophy, through the use of Consecrated oils, Milky voice (vocal attunement), Hands-on Work on specific points (Chakras, Organs, Nadis and subtle bodies). The natural energetic flow is facilitated, disposing of dysfunctional and traumatic emotions and memories to increase personal awareness. The Egyptian Essene therapists were not chosen for their intellectual and mental abilities but for their charisma, profound humanity and the ability to manifest it in everyday life.
What is Ātman?
Ātman is a Sanskrit word that means inner self or breath and is that part of us that cannot be touched or hurt. Our human reality constantly lives in communion with the divine reality. The therapist had to learn to connect with a state of consciousness beyond one's ego, thoughts, moods and emotions, which Easterners call Ātman. The Egyptian Essene therapeutic art connects us to a sacred breath that passes through us like a wave, allowing us to become channels between heaven and Earth. The therapist becomes the bridge (pontiff), restoring communication between the dissonant parts. This path is a path of profound personal growth, a school of life. The quality of what the patient receives is proportionate to the work that the therapist has done and is doing on himself.

Times have changed, we have evolved as a species since the time of the Essenes. The key to healing of any kind is your belief in it. The deeper your faith the deeper the healing. Seers heal others with both faith and energy manifested by thought and emotion.

As a Reiki trained practitioner I appreciate this teaching showing the connection between the healer and the one receiving the healing. Successful healing often depends upon the receptive emotional state of the one who believes it can happen. The use of oils is also helpful and can have a major impact on the outcome. I have always been interested in the Essenes and Jesus connection to them and their unique philosophy which shaped his life and teachings. His time spent there also explains the missing years of his life between his last known public appearance at the age of 12 in the temple until he reappeared on the scene at the age of 30. Edgar Cayce predicted the finding of the Dead Sea Scrolls. John the Baptist was an Essene. Some believe Jesus the Nazarene could have also been a reference to the Northern Essence (Nassarene) community in Caramel. Hi, the only person who has written something about Essene Sounds is Annie Givaudan, but from personal experience, the milky voice describes the capacity of the healer to become an alchemist transmuting sounds into a healing balm and facilitating this transformation; the therapist has to learn to connect very deeply with all the elements involved.
When I tune into it, I get an energy that goes to the throat chakra. It seems to sit in the throat, and like a muscle, it can be flexed quite easily while speaking, which adds a certain energetic quality to the voice. When I record my voice while speaking with it and then listen to it, the energy is quite apparent. It seems to come in from the top of the head and work for a while. But I can’t quite tell what it’s doing, or what it’s properties are. Any hint?

I will have to be with you to gain an understanding of it... but usually the whole body in involved in the process, we can direct the sound as is coming out from the belly or the heart or both... and qualities are unique to each individual, maybe you can ask somebody to give you feedback after practicing the Voice with them.
