I just changed my fog lights. It was super easy and nicely explained here. I did break a small plastic piece but the lights locked still. So be patient as he said 😅. I am so proud of myself.😂

Just as a FYI to some of you. On my F31 I had to first disconnect the cable in order to twist and loosen the socket.

Very useful video, did the LED upgrade 2 years ago on my F33, but recently lost coding due to 6WB retrofit, Bimmercode is excellent 👍
When you were coding, I noticed that your center dome light is different (for a pre-lci). Do you have a a retrofit video for that, including where you purchased the part? I don't like the fact that both my center and rear have to turn on at the same time. And they look too basic.
Thanks for video...these are my last bulbs to change to LED. You have helped me to make coding fun! I was able to get mirrors to fold and unfold via key fob, as well as roll up my windows with key fob! Have you been able to code windows to auto roll down via key fob?

This video really helpful... like I upgrade my fog light LED but after 2 months they start to flash/ blinking on and off like I would say maybe about every 5 second and I didnt know how to fix it .... with this video I'm hoping when I do the coding it stop it from blinking but if you have any other idea I can try please let me know...

What about adding oem lci led fogs?
Probably the cheapest and best looking upgrade on a BMW. 6000k HIDs, LED turn signals and LED fog lights. But please don't replace your HID for LED.

I have change my foglight bec both of them are busted. I got the full led fog light assembly. Foglights on but i got a foglight malfunction in the dash. I got the 2015 335i xdrive. White too.

bro i just install a set of xenon light bulbs and led fog lights ( same as yours)and i did the coding but now when i lock the car ,lights wont flash . before when locking the car they flash, did i miss anything or did something wrong? can you help me

Update. Bimmer code has updated it to just LED conversion and that is the only option.

Hey ThicF30 I have a question for you I want to install some LED angel eyes on my F30 but most are projector headlights and when using a LED bulb from my past experience LED's in a projector headlight assy do NOT put out a good light outpost at night or put good light on the road. I have heard that to get a good light output onto the road you have to use a good HID kit because LED's are worthless so do you know if this is the case ?

Bro, I’ve bought the same exact LEDs and don’t the same finding steps and everything is working perfectly except that when I turn them off, the LED bulbs keep flickering in a very low light percentage. Do you have any insights ?
Did you do the coding part? Setting Fog light warm/cold monitoring to not active should solve it..

Malarkey...I did that exact same procedure with mine. Didn't work. No combination of those values made the LEDs I got work without a fault. Guess I'm buying new bulbs.
Maybe I'll make one more attempt tonight before ordering something.

I noticed that those LED's have nodes firing straight forward. I have the halogen housing, so I'm wondering if that will be too bright to fit into the DRL slot. Has anyone else done that with these LED's?

If you have the halogens and you are going led, then yes. Unless you are using error free led bulbs

It looks like I explained that in another video and a community post. Basically, vgate does not have consistent stock in their adapter therefore I cannot market a product that is not available to my subscribers. New adapter is the exact same just a different name
So I installed these Fog Light Led's and did the coding but when my headlights are on it seems like Fog Lights are on too, glowing little bit, but not like on on just a little bit. I expect them to be completely off until I actually turn them on. Is there any way to fix this?
Hey Deyo. I have the same issue on my LED fog lights, got that little glow look when it's OFF. Still finding a way to fix this issue. Coded off all warm/cold monitoring but no no luck.
i have the same issue. Not only that LEDs remain glowing for few minutes after the car has been locked. this is annoying

You can vinyl wrap the fog light glass in yellow. Pretty common

no
I think it would... the car has been told to check for the lower voltage of the LED bulb, rather than higher halogen. If no voltage going through, bulb broken, error code.

@@ranausman when i set it to not active at first it still would turn on with the welcome lights but after i gave up and went to drive the car soon after I realized they didn’t turn on with the welcome lights anymore. I dont know if it’s different with my car , its a f22

Depo doesn’t make lci headlights. In fact nobody makes an aftermarket solution for xenon to lci at the moment. Only option is fully custom or oem and that’s about 3k
