From observation it seems like he was actually out of ammo but the game lets him reload, making him think he has some rounds left(?)

Its a glitch. Thats the sound it makes before the round begins so people can't spam fire and grief before the round. Sometimes it carries over into the round then your guns just dont work and need to restart the game. Thats VR for you 😬

VR is amazing
Pavlov is the number one reason to get VR...no question. Alyx is incredible, and really shows what VR can do...but fuck me is Pavlov funny. I often lose fights because I'm laughing so hard, doing things like coming around a corner with a bolt action hunting rifle, only to find the other guy has one as well, both missing, and then standing there a foot apart frantically trying to work the charging handle. Or the always hilarious, sneaking up behind people and pulling their magazine out.

Tip for if you wanna record more of this in the future: Check for an option to see the view from the players' right eye. It's currently on the left eye view which means that you can't see them lining up shots

Pretty sure it's improved... But made everything else worse, particularly reloading and trying to figure out why your gun just angrily beeps at you when you try to fire it.

They have enough trouble playing gmod without vr. this is not going to end well.
I don't know.. VR could be easier or harder depending on how you look at it. Aiming is more natural and immersive, so it's easier for most. I think it's movement that's usually the hardest thing in VR compared to without VR.
@@Eventide215 I've played Pavlov VR a bit and it isn't as easy as it seems. The controls were a bit weird for me since somethings I'd have to use the grip to grab and sometimes I'd have to use the trigger instead (I think some bolts were like that).
Even ignoring controls, the fact that you can't simulate weight means you have to pretend to be holding a gun which is especially harder for two handed guns. It's surprisingly tricky to keep it steady which makes it difficult to use scoped snipers or any sort of weapon at long range.
This isn't Gmod, so thankfully no Source Engine bugs
@@AlmostUselessPenguin A lot of people will build a mount for their controllers that simulates the stock of a rifle. I never did that personally since I mostly used pistols and semi auto rifles that didn't need a ton of precision.

Now imagine Duncan roaming about with two double barreled shotguns
and Zoey with two homerun bats once they do the stuff necessary for their usual TTT sessions. the humor would be gone as it'd all be as if a small bipedal cat is bolting toward you with two deadly bats IRL.
Also when Zylus manages to work the sniper rifle like he does in Gmod TTT, it'll just be Zylus up high on one end of the map making life he'll for the rest of the gang up until he gets flanked.

1:20 I love how the hands are shaking. It looks like Checkpoint is scared for his life. I really want to see live cams of you guys doing this as well. Who evers view point it is, should have a live cam of them to see how they are reacting in real life to whats going on in the game.
How did they only do this once?! I'd love to see some yogscast maps, mods, and playermodels put into pavlov!

THE PROPHECY IT HAS BEEN FULFILLED
I would like to thank the yogscast for saving my life, I had quite bad mental health I was depressed and anxious and I came across a ttt video and I used to avidly watch all ttt videos and all the minecraft yoglabs etc and in 17 now and have been watching since 8 or 9ish but my point is these videos recently have made me so happy and Improved my mood and I owe it to the yogscast thank you everyone.
This is honestly the best 😂 I love this CZcams channel so much. I like how this channel have evolved to playing on the computer to doing actual VR 🤩
This is why Tom irl would be easily a great killer since he is so precise with aim regardless if using vr or mouse or controller he also is really good with deception he also might be really good as an officer or anything to do with guns

You can literally see him put only one bullet in the gun at 8:49, though, with nothing happening in-between that obviously explains how it got more. I think he was genuinely confused about it.

This is so good! Maybe in the future, it would be helpful if we could see a little marker in the corner that shows the role of whoever's perspective we're seeing? I know it says it at the top, but I think a little extra help might make things a little easier to keep track of. Would love to see more of this in the future, even if it was just occasionally.

It’s not gonna be as broken as you think, it’s really difficult to aim two guns. The only gun really worth dual wielding is the double barrel because it’s straight out of Doom.

Why a valve index specifically?
You do not need a Valve index for this. There are other, cheaper, VR Headsets that would work just as well for this game. Basically this game alone isn’t enough to justify an Index.

@@sanguillotine That's why I asked why an Index specifically.. they're kinda similar to PCs. You should start at a lower one if you only intend to play a few games here and there. Only jump straight to the expensive Index if you really want to play a lot of VR. The Index is $1000 total.. the vive is like $400.
I love that tom was the only one who figured out how to duel wield. even in a whole new TTT he's the pro gamer!

We need another VR round, it has been too long. Next time give the Yogs a few minutes to try out the guns, how to reload and how to handle the safety. I saw a lot of accidental button presses here.

You can see him aiming at the ground not hitting anything. Then when he lands the shot, you can see him tint the gun upwards slightly.

1, gmod has vr support through an addon :) and 2, There kind of is a GMOD 2! It's called S&Box and is developed by Garry and the same team. Check out their progress :) Idk about the vr support for it but yeah! :D
@@SpiritedVT S&Box just got moved to Source 2, and it's going to have VR support. It would probably have been in development for far longer by now, but apparently Valve's employee who was in charge of distributing Source 2 to developers just... Didn't.

He did say he couldn't actually do it. He also could have forgotten his role. The real first breaking of forever traitor was done by Rythian in the underwater map in the same episode that started "stop it I'm bees".
