Yum looks good. I'm Canadian and we like to put Corn and cream corn as a layer . Also put cheddar cheese on top of the potato layer . It gets all brown and bubbly in the oven .

16 slices of American cheese
1 lb box of pasta
1 can of diced tomatoes
Chop up cheese into small pieces, cook pasta, add cheese to drained pasta, mix till it is all melted, add can tomatoes, serve.

I love watching you and Dean cooking together! I’ve missed seeing you together- been a long time since watching your reality show. So happy that you’ve found your sweet spot together and your family is thriving! I think a You Tube channel will be the right venue for your family. We get to see your family life but its not as intrusive as a reality show which ends up being stressful. Wishing you the best on this endeavor!
Paper towel, that was a pretty good hack 😻
I use golden mushroom soup instead of gravy and i use peas and carrots. Top with mashed potatoes. Whatever is available or you prefer but top with cheese(your favorite) and bake. My 5 grown children still use this recipe for their families but have been cooking it since they left home. If they knew I was making it they were usually in the family room watch and patiently waiting for dinner to be served and we never had leftovers and I doubled the recipe to make sure they all had enough. They all ate a side salad and we drank sweet iced tea. I always kept cut up veggies and fruit especially orange slices in the fridge and hummus or ranch dressing to dip. I had very good healthy eaters and it warms my heart my grandchildren are also benefit from what I taught them. Our favorite guilty pleasure was usually warm brownies and ice cream. Food is what brings the family together. Best wishes !!

Great collaboration! I make a similar cottage pie, but make the gravy with the ground beef by browning the meat in butter and adding and browning some flour and adding broth or water. Works great!

Dean reminds me of someone and I can’t think who. I never clean up and when I’m done my husband always says it looks like a Category 5 hit the kitchen. This was good. They are cute together.

This is not a shepherd's pie it's a cottage pie the only meat ingredient in a shepherd's pie is lamb hence the name Shepherd

My husband and I like to make breakfast together. I'm good at the prep and he's good at the execution. We usually make omelettes or frittatas.

Sooo yummy! No better half, but I love to cook pasta with walnuts. Sauté chopped onion and garlic in olive oil till clear, add crushed red pepper, salt and pepper, rosemary and walnuts. Sauté till walnuts are warm. Toss with penne pasta, Parmesan and add freshly made croutons on top!

Here's another way to make shepherd's pie.Hambugar any seasoning you might want to add.Garlic Mashed potatoes,Shredded Cheese.Make Two layer of everything and extra Cheese at the end IF YOU LIKE KETCHUP ON IT'S SO GOOD.CORN AND GREEN BEANS ARE A GOOD SIDE TO EAT WITH YUMMY. YOUR SHEPHERD'S PIE LOOK'S YUMMY TO I DEFINITELY WILL TRY YOUR RECIPE.THANK YOU FOR SHARING. I HOPE YOUR FAMILY HAS A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Another quick version
Brown hamburger just like Tori did (adding the onion Larry’s seasoning salt garlic and salt and pepper) add cream of mushroom soup (instead of gravy) along with a third stick of butter and a touch of cream until all the meat is evenly coated.
We skip the peas, because we have no pea eaters in the house. I substitute it with green beans and corn. Then I add the shredded cheese, next is garlic mashed potatoes. Place thin pats of butter here and there over top mashed potatoes. Pop it in the oven uncovered until the potatoes are Browning on the edges (just a touch) and the butter is bubbly and melted. It’s so so good! Some of us do add ketchup to our own plates😉
