YES! The Grammatico GSG is based on a Dumble ODS - which it appears ended up on their bench for testing, here's a first for the Helix - both Clean and Lead channels in the one amp model! Firmware 3.6 is a smaller update, but a significant one for me! Robben Ford, Larry Carlton, John Mayer, Joe Bonamassa and loads more are some of the folks lucky enough to play these amps, so there's a new go to for this kind of tone in the Helix!

Line 6 is truly the king of continued support and updates. Truthfully they could have saved these models for their next product but they keep on giving to the community. Hats off line 6.
I have to wonder if the next gen device will be fully backwards compatible with the current device's presets. The amount of investing they're doing in the current gen (and have continued to do for years) makes me think they are aiming for a future where it will all still be relevant. Realistically the only thing the current Helix can't do that others can is on-board modeling...which is only valuable for a (relatively) infinitesimally small percent of the market.
I can see the next gen device maybe having modeling, and more DSP (though the current DSP is probably more than sufficient, especially with the IR and Cab DSP optimizations they did with 3.5). Frankly I have trouble imagining what they could improve the current product aside from maybe a better on-board editing experience/interface.

I just started using this GSG model, and I'm blown away by how full and rich it sounds. At the moment, I think it's definitely the best model in the Helix. It's incredible the way Line 6 keeps adding value to my now pretty old helix unit.

Line 6 Helix, and their commitment to regular Updates and Product enhancements, is in my view, the best in the industry by a wide margin. I have never purchased any other product that continues to get better like this! Kudos to the Line 6 team and Yamaha for making this possible.
Congrats John in getting your Presets into the 3.6 Update. Well deserved, and a testament to all the great work you've done in educating Line 6 product users like myself. Loved Intro improvisation, and the tones were some of the best ever. The new Dumble Amp sounds magnificent! The addition of the EVM Cab had me picking my jaw off the floor. I saw a video where Dumble said something like: Electro-Voice makes the best sounding guitar speakers. I totally agree, and there is a recent Johan Segeborn video where he demos one, and it is magnificent! I'm thrilled that I'll be able to use an EVM in my HX Stomp. 🎉😎👍

I have played that actual amp and others he has made. I can ateat they are the best sounding amps bar none. Anything John makes is superb with bloom characteristics no other amps I have played have.

I just got my HX stomp yesterday and updated to 3.5, this morning I’m already on 3.6 now good timing!
Loving it so far it’s SO MUCH effects / cabs to choose from and build patches. Just finished my first self made patch after trying all the built in ones.

I've been a Line 6 spider user since I started, I had no real idea how to begin researching amps when I was playing. I stopped for 7 years, and just started picking it up again this year, and no channel has given me more hesitance to leave the Line 6 modeling family than yours. You make me want a HX Stomp as my next step up rather than a tube amp (and that's hard as I've been nerding out about amps lately)

As far as the legendary tan Dumble, it’s been on at least one other amp designer’s bench. Several years ago Bludotone had access to it and their ‘Ojai’ clone was the result. I’ve read comments in various places that this may have created a bit of a rift between Robben and Dumble, but don’t know if it’s true.
The Ojai can sound very close to the tan Dumble when dialed in- probably a reason Fractal has a model of it. Seems the Grammatico can too and it’s wonderful Line 6 has modeled it (the tan dumble and other info seems gone from their site?) Would love to hear it through a (model of) a G-1265 equipped cab if Line 6 has one. Cheers!
All other amps sounds improved in 3.60. I noticed they add subtle depth to every models.🎉

I have a pod go and looking to upgrade. The reason that I'm going helix is the hardware is still current (I will never need more DSP), looks every bit as good as newer models (headrush prime) but the software support is the real key for me. I liken it to PS4, same box for 10 years but pushed onwards by software upgrades.. Great business model.
Thought I was listening to Robben Ford and the Blue Line for a second at the beginning, you nailed the sound and playing. Also love the subtle humour of the matching Grammatico outfit.

Line 6 support is astonishing. Would absolutely purchase another line 6 product again. They really need to come out with a power amp that can be used into a guitar cab.
Ita a really great model. Interesting to back-to-back it against the litigator, which was a decent model, but it shows just how much L6 have improved their model making.

Having owned a helix produkt allmost since it came out, this is the first time, I have made a great patch without tweaking the hell out of it. Just chose a cab and changed the mics. Nice one.
DAMN !!! I was waiting for my payday Friday to order a Helix Floor having been watching what you do with them.
I was hovering due to it being an 8 year old unit.
I also took a long time to forgive Line 6 for dumping support for the Firehawk.
I finally make up my mind to jump and Andertons have just today just bumped the price up by £50 !!
Might be my new favorite amp. So articulate. It reminds me of getting my Bad Cat Black Cat 30R a few years ago. I felt like it forced me to be a better player because it didn’t hide my sloppiness.

I'm amazed by what Line 6 is doing with their new kit. Its great to see (hear) as my brother-outlaw bought a Spider when it dropped and listening to that thing was like chewing on tin foil.
The "MK. IV" line of Spider amps have some passable bedroom tones if you work for them, but its A LOT of tweaking. Definitely feels like a good intro to modeling in a small single package, but its by no means giggable.

FM3 sounds and feels a little better, while the Stomp XL has more switches (better for live use) and is easier to proagram/edit on the fly w/o using a DT editor.

Bang for your buck it's Hard to beat the HX stomp.. This patch is one of the best I've heard.. getting choked up because mine got stolen 😢.. been debating on whether I should replace it.. was very quick and convenient ..This post makes me miss it ..smh

I've never understood why Line 6 and just about every other amp modeling company out there has not modeled the whole amp instead of just a channel or mode of an amp. For instance, a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier, it only models one channel in one mode. All the modes and channels are usable and I'd like to be able to access the whole amp rather than several amps to try to compensate. Then they can actually and accurately call it "amp modeling" rather than basically just giving you channel modeling of a specific amp.
