In the absence of a drummer, Sam hits his guitar a lot in an attempt to get as much music out of the instrument as possible. His CZcams videos have reached over 2 millionviews (that's over 4,000,000 eyeballs) with an overwhelmingly positive response. He can be spotted on the streets of Sydney, earning more than minimum wage by playing guitar and receiving money from generous passersby. He can also write about himself in the 3rd person when necessary.

Basically what f-asz said, but more like he's doing slap bass on a guitar. Search up Rob scallon slap guitar
For guitar it is called Hammer on and pull off, while he bangs the guitar with his right hand for percussion he "hammers" the strings with his left fingers, producing what you hear. One of the best I have ever heard by the way! Guitar sound is not only produced by strumming.
RexallMetal if you want to get really technical, you could actually say that he is using a combination of percussive guitar styles and left hand tapping, which is actually a thing.
