I can see how that board target training could overlap a lot of other behavior such as mounting! Thank you!. I am excited to try a couple today with the help of some handy dandy carrot slices.
Hope you enjoyed these tricks! ❤ Here’s my last trick training video if you’re interested: czcams.com/video/phU9RyJgNAg/video.html
Hey I have vid request. I started working with a horse that hasn’t been out sense summer. When I lead him he will half trot half speed walk past me. When I try to turn him away he will just barrel past me. How can I fix this?
I really want to know how to train my horse to “fist bump” just raise up their knee to your knuckle and bump it. I saw a video when a horse did that and I thought it would be really fun to learn.
My pony is currently on stall rest/light turnout this will help so much to keep her occupied thanks!
Patience and love 👍

Omg! Thank you this is so perfect for me, I’ve been trying to teach my pony to do some different tricks. I failed miserably so I really appreciate it
I hope these help!
Smile is very simple! Just get a treat and let your pony smell it and hold it just above it’s top lip. Reward instantly whenever the top lip moves, it can take a few sessions but once your pony lifts its lip quite a lot. Then you can raise the hand with the treat and wiggle your finger and say smile, same thing. Reward when lip moves. It’s super easy! There are tons of CZcams videos too if I didn’t explain good enough

Can you do lay down
Omg you and Tucker playing “catch” at the end rolling the ball back and forth to each other was so cute.
We need like a “tucker playing with the ball” b-roll maybe on like yt shorts or something 😂

Tucker is so smart and your an incredible trainer🎉
Pushing a cat with a bucket is priceless. I think Tucker waited for the right moment. If you watch his eyes, you would notice that he was following the cat as the cat was approaching.
Thank you! I might be getting a horse as a very late birthday gift because I’ve always wanted one. I live on a farm so I would want some help on the farm. And I want to teach him/her how to do some things that may help; like picking things up!
You really break the tricks down and make them doable with my own!
Best wishes!

These were so great and seem totally doable! Wondering, can you show us how to shake with our horses? I like to help my girl stretch her front legs, but it's always a little awkward getting her to lift her front leg forward for me to grab
Love this!!

Hi there! I’m starting to teach my horse some tricks! And I love the rag and rolling one! But could you do a tutorial on smile and catch! Thx 🫶🏻🦄
Now that Tucker knows how to roll the ball you should teach him to play soccer/football(whatever you call it). If you want you could also do a tutorial on it :)
These are great, I can’t wait to try them out with my guy.
I remember as a kid going to a barn where a horse was taught to “give kisses.” Is that a trick you would be willing to teach Tucker and share with us?

Hi! I love your videos and training! I have a coming 3 year old gypsy cross that I tried training with positive reinforcement and treats but now she’s becoming pushy and a little nippy. What should I do?
He is so cute and smart

I don't know if I taught my horses to put on haters or bridles but they did. They would put their heads down and push their nose though the halter. Roughly the same for bridles. I never used treats not because I'm against it. No, I just never thought to. Again I had the horses remove their bridles. Undo chin strap and nose strap lift the headpiece and the horse drop their heads and spit out the bit They would wait for a scratch and then move off
Hey Carmella! I love your videos. They help me and my horse sooo much! I really need to teach my horse how to back up through the 'L' shape while I am riding him. Any tips?
Hello and thanks for your support! I would say practice doing it on the ground first. Your body will act as your leg, so when you need the horse turn right during the back, put yourself on the left side of the horse. I hope this makes sense and best wishes!!

So i was at an event this past weekend and this guys horse was trained to push the gates open with his nose once his rider unlatched it, could you do a video on that?
Except when I taught my horse to take off a hat. He went to take off my barn owner’s hat and she wasn’t wearing one!! It was her hair bun!!🤣
Yes, you did say not to train this to a naughty, nippy horse! Too late!!❤❤
Nice dog you have 🤣🤣🤣

Very interesting Video!
It may be a common thing that I have never herd off or we simply don’t do in Australia but what’s the reason behind Tucker having his chest shaved? Or does it appear that way? 🤠
It’s simply so he doesn’t get too hot while working and being ridden, there are many different types of clips

I think you should do fist bump it super easy to teach your horse in a day or two
Wow
I need my horse to learn to step sideways on the ground by crossing his legs. Have you got some suggestions please?
I have a question. For horse jumping, I'm over 250 lbs, with tack and everything would I be able to jump and do competitions in hunter/jumper? I really want to, but not sure if I can. Live in Canada
Hello! It just depends on your horse and that ratio. Horses can comfortably carry 20% of their body weight. If you have a heavier breed, I would say you could do it!
