- Argentina is the second largest country in South America, located in the southern region. It has many beautiful places to visit and a wide range of weather. Towards the north, you will find warmer temperatures, with some big cities like the capital Buenos Aires. Towards the south of Argentina, you will find cooler temperatures and many mountainsides for those who love the cold and hiking.
Argentina neighbours Uruguay to the northeast, Chile to the west, and Paraguay, Bolivia, and Brazil to the north. Argentina has been an inexpensive expat hotspot for a few decades now. To bolster this high traffic of immigrants, help with their economy, and give digital nomads a better experience in the country, they launched in May 2022 their first digital nomad visa.

You could go through all that paperwork just to stay 180 days or with a tourist visa you could book a day trip out of the county to Uruguay, Paraguay, or Chile in 90 days and come back the same day, or you could overstay and pay the fee when you exit.
How much is the fee?
Sounds like its not a very big deal.
@@johnzarek3628 Its still not a good thing to pay the fee but I have heard its about $30 usd. But don't take a random internet experience as fact. See legal council, do your own research, etc.
Argentina taxes world wide income, bad mistake for anyone looking to evade taxes. Libertarians ditched Argentina as the go to place 10 years ago.
