My thoughts are with you and if the doctor said tough love is the best thing to do then get some ear plugs or get some baby gates to keep her in specific places so your able to move around the house without her trying to climb up you constantly! Hope everyone is feeling better, you included 😊

Hang in there girl 💗💗 I know exactly what you’re talking about when it comes to clingy babies. My daughter that is probably your exact age was my clingy baby. We literally had 2 car seats. That way when she screamed so much in the car to make herself throw up, we had a spare seat to quickly change out because she hated the car so much. I couldn’t put her down ever. I feel like she came out of the womb crying and she didn’t stop crying until she was like 2. Don’t get me wrong, she was a VERY happy baby but she was definitely clingy and hard. It’s just difficult for other people to try and understand what it feels like when you literally can’t do anything. It’s something that you never really forget even when that clingy baby grows up. I wouldn’t change a thing and I made it through, but those are hard days that I’m going to remember forever. I remember saying that I’m never going to have another baby. I just couldn’t handle it if I had another clingy one. I did have another little girl after and she was not clingy at all. I know what you’re going through and I appreciate you talking about it, because a lot of parents on CZcams Don’t talk about it in fear of the backlash that they will get.

I absolutely agree! I waited 10 years to have another because I was so scared. So I get it! And…. It was also my 3rd baby that was my clingy one! My 4th girl… I consider her EASY. When I look at you, I see myself. Exhausted, a bit frustrated and just tired to be honest. You got this 💗💗

I'm actually a grandma and my daughters AND grand daughters had earaches so often that they finally ended up with tubes in their ears. Then the tubes would fall out and we needed new ones! Ugghhhhh! It's a long haul. I'm just glad we have doctors and treatments that they didn't used to have. You are are both brave and patient!

I was particularly susceptible to ear infections as a toddler. These infections never caused lasting damage, thankfully. But ear infections can potentially cause permanent hearing loss, namely SNHL. Bottom line, these infections are not "benign" and the doctor may well prescribe antibiotics.
