What warms my heart is that there’s no way Miles caught Peter off guard. His spidey-sense would dodged that punch instantly. Peter let miles have that punch, to boost his confidence.

@@camrenkimmerling9406 True however his Spider Sense only detects those who Peter considers a threat and not a friend. That's why Venom can sneak up on him with ease.
This is what makes Spider-man such a beloved character in marvel. He knows what it's like to be powerless as before he got his powers he was bullied a lot in high school and really tries to help the defenseless people feel hope for the better. Other heroes like Captain Marvel or Iron Man are more powerful, but it's Peter's little interactions with citizens like this that shows that unlike other heroes like the avengers who mainly deal with big issues, Peter is just a guy with powers who wants to help out. Spider-man is willing to take on big threats like fighting with the avengers to stop Thanos, but also never forgets about the ordinary aspects that everyday people struggle with and wants to help them even if it's not a big deal.
He's the type who'd save the universe but will help a kid get back home safely
I wonder if Miles will be in the MCU and what that version of Peter Parker will interact with him since Miles ISN’T a nerd like Peter himself, let’s just say that I can’t wait until Miles arrives to the MCU

The one thing I love about this game is how Insomniac really made us feel like we know Spider-Man for years. Like we know what he's done to save the people and the city. I think it's thanks to the backpack collectibles.

@@JaceAVinson He did say a lifetime when you found the Fisk award trophy. Fisk offered him a scholarship but Peter asked for a lifetime supply of backpacks. And when you found the first one he says he forgot about them. Heck, there was one that had his gym clothes that was there for 6 years.

I like how it seems like Miles expected Spidey to dodge his punch after Spidey said to punch him so that's why he was kind of shocked when he hit him. Spidey wanted to help his confidence
Nah he genuinely didn't see that punch coming, his spider-sense only reacts to threats and not people he sees as friends.

Having seen the end of the Spider-Man 2 and going back to this is so cool. Seeing Miles start here to become the man he is at the end of the most recent game makes me want to go through the whole story start to finish again.

The Spider-Man suit is so perfect!
Beezzyy, to be honest, it isn’t my favorite. It’s still a decent suit, but it’s the white bits that really bother me on it. I think he should stick to the red, black and blue.

Right! Despite all the spiderman suits you get, the one you start off with is my absolute favorite. Its simple with a touch of cool stuff attached to it. It works.

3 years and this scene still never gets old
I like the end of the scene when Spider-Man swings away and we see it from Miles POV aling with him walking through NYC. It puts it into perspective how our swinging around the city looks to the average pedestrian and how much faster we can get around the city than them.
Its nice to think about this being one of the few good moments Miles had in his life to help him cope with what happened to his dad.

Spidey interacting with everyday people is my fav Spidey.
My fav Spider-Man comic is perhaps this little comic from Hannah Blumenreich's Spidey Zine where a woman is creeped out walking home alone at night and ask Spider-man to escort her home. So they ride the subway and he nerds out over Cowboy Bebop. And that' basically all that happens, it's wonderful.

Little did people know 2 years later ur also gonna be playing as miles (which is my favorite spider man)
its like peter created another spider man thats so cool cant believe he meets miles
For the longest time in my head it was Pete that went "oh shi-" and it felt like so raw because it showed him cracking for a second and reflexively cursing in pain not expecting that power from Miles but then quicky regaining composure going "no no...its great you made me curse, good stuff"
But now seeing it was really Miles go went "oh shit" seeing siper-man recoil back from the puch changes it a bit.
A phenomenal scene, 10/10 still but I fo feel a bit berenstain beared
It’s good because without this scene he never would’ve been able to fight in miles morales
I like this scene. It tells us miles is already bit he just doesnt know how to use it yet. And also this is technically his first training session with peter. Peter felt the punch rather than other peoples punches. That means miles is up there but not that strong enough yet so he could have taken those thugs down if he had the spirit to do it at the time.

Remember when Spider-Man was a character Stan Lee’s peers thought would not be a hit with comic readers? They said “no one wants to idol a superhero relating to bugs” look at our hero now. Not only Stan’s peers were wrong, but Stan’s hero is literally the face of Marvel. Spider-Man is the most popular superhero ever, the most iconic, the most Amazing, Spectacular Spider-Man!

If I could become the real life Spider-Man but the terrible canon events about people I love having to die not applying to me somehow, that would be awesome. Plus I’m sure if there was a real life Spider-Man it would be a lot easier than being the fictional Spider-Man because what are they chances there would be real life villains with super strength who also have powers?
