My son brought home a seed from school that he planted. He said that his teacher told him it's a mystery seed. We have taken great care of it watering it, putting it in a bigger pot etc. This morning I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the bud forming at the top i literally screamed in excitement its a sunflower 😂

We used to have plenty of sunflowers growing on our farm in Poland. As kids we'd pick the seeds and eat them. I'll always love sunflowers and so easy to grow 💛🌻💛🌻💛

Thank You So Much! Lately I been stressed to the max & just a few days ago discovered the calming magic of watching time lapse Mother Nature IN ACTION. I watched blooming flowers & felt wonderful afterward. I just asked Google for Mother Nature time lapse vids & clicked on yours. I began smiling as soon as I heard the soft jazz. I feel much better. When I was a child, our teacher helped us all to germinate a little sun flower seed. Unfortunetly I continuously over watered mine.
Fast forward 30 years and my 5 year old nephew is has a germinated sun flower seed. I planted it I'm a bigger pot for him. I'm minding that plant like its my own child !

It's literally magic
Mine is about 1-2 feet right now growing beautiful outside on my deck in long rectangular pot. It’s currently at 3 tier with long fuzzy stem and it’s getting thicker. My sunflowers are 3 months in. Hopefully, I’ll see the buds bloom in June or maybe July.

Oh! you have a strong level of patience.
This entire time lapse is like watching a whimsical Pixar short! I grew larger (but not giant) sunflowers outdoors near my vegetable garden last summer and they grew taller than 6 ft! It did take them some time to grow but after a month they had adapted and really took to the environment. I had many growing out of three seedlings. Such a joy to see them!
I waited until September to cut the flower heads and then harvest the seeds!
Squirrels stole all mine when fully grown late summer .looking after nature 😂

I showed this video to my Foundation kids, they loved it
Its realy cool to watch and i know it because i have a parrot outside in a big cage and i feed him sunflower seeds at the petstore and sunflower seed will fall out the cage sometime and a little plant will come out and remeber watching one grow fully and it was fun so anytime i see a small sunflower plant on the ground i put it in a pot and watch it grow
