I think it’s simple - they followed the money. They started out with more guitar oriented music (that was popular at the moment) + some pop ballads. They saw what would give them more popularity. They may not be getting great reviews, but they sell 10+ million songs/units and they are this “mom pop”. That’s my take on it

Sunday Morning is up there with my favorite songs of all time. It's very unusual for modern pop bands to use smooth jazz influences in their music but they really nailed it.

Bruh dont blame Kanye West for shit. Even if he did give Adam a spot for one single song that would be forgotten even admidst that very record Adam and the band knew Adam was girl moisturizer from the very start and played that way to become rich, which worked. Even if they lack the same sonic or even musical interest i don't mind listening the singles from V to songs about Jane. Theyre as good as pop rock fodder will ever get

I know it's been years since you made this video, but there are a few things you need to know.
1: Kara's Flowers is pronounced CAR UH's Flowers
2: "Won't Go Home Without You" was written sometime between 2002 and 2003.
3: the entire band loves hip hop. Songs About Jane was influenced by R&B and Hip-Hop. The only thing about Maroon 5 that would've changed if Adam Levine and Kanye never met is that "Nothing Lasts Forever" wouldn't have charted.

That song has a viby tone like other blackbear songs, lazy use of guitar, absence of drums, and presence of more electro makes it solo by Adam ft.Megan.... (why so many ft. Songs, wtf... Still love them tho)... Wishing Maroon 5 to make a Flop album or a Classic like first 3, if they fail on March 30 with the reveal of new album songs, they might go back to their old school music which as a fan I want to hear😐

@@shifalmohamed2512 - I have the album It Won’t Be Same Before Long.. the drums and the production is incredible!.. I hear a lot of the Police on the album too. Which is a bit uncommon nowadays to hear!.. Hands All Over was another good album too. I feel like they are sell outs. I’m sorry to say it but as much I enjoy their work. Just feel like they had to hop on the Pop or R&B bandwagon train because everyone is doing it. I feel the same with Ariana Grande.. Yes I know her genre was always Pop and R&B.. she jumped on the trap sound just because all the rappers and R&B artists are using the same sounds.. I wanna give praise too Bruno Mars. The man was not putting out music for years. I was a bit worried on what he would give us. He knows what he wants and what the listeners want.. which is something to groove too and feel the songs as well. Not saying Ariana doesn’t but I feel like it’s more her label or manager controls what she puts out.. When Bruno’s song Leave the Door Open was released.. it was his original sound but with a different twist. He added more a soulful sound to it with the instruments and very laid back drums.. I love this song.. it’s not repetitive or anything that is 2 minutes long. Believe it or not this song isn’t 2 minutes long. I feel like Maroon 5 and Ariana Grande are releasing music that is not even worth listening too.. especially the singles. Her album positions was alright but not great!.. it felt rushed and the songs all sound the same. I feel like Ariana needs to work with different producers. Not Tommy Brown or her friends.. Somebody like Timbaland, Scott Storch, Frank Dukes.. etc. Her song My Hair which is produced by Scott Storch.. I wish the album had more of that.. The horns and the beat. It’s a very sexy and groovy song. I wish it was more longer. I don’t understand why these artists are releasing songs with 2 minutes long? The albums just goes too fast!.. It’s just laziness!..

@@pjartistics finally who thinks the same, i mainly listen rock songs these and some pop and i could also easily say ariana is going down but fans going up with toxicity.....this was same with M5 when M5 started going downwards in music quality fans began to rise more and had enough big fandom, now its like only some listeners who still loves their first 3 albums and overexposed (i started listening to music when this thing came along with LPs Living Things, and now discovered many better songs),other two albums are big trash,Bruno is always at the right path and he is getting what he deserves,he's not overrated or underrated, has same old lyrical quality....idk but i also feel like music quality of Taylor Swift is also going downwards and going more towards to a sellout fashion...idk just my opinion

@@shifalmohamed2512 I agree and I love Taylor Swift too. I think she’s very sexy and beautiful.. not only that but she is so talented. She is truly a icon!.. Even though I do have a physical copy of reputation.. Lover is my favorite album by her. It’s something that was fresh and I had a bit of glimpse of 1989 in some parts of the album and others going back to her country roots. That song being Paper Rings. I’m not a fan of country at all and the only album I have that is close to Country / Pop is Kacey Musgraves Golden Hour. Don’t get me started on that album. It’s a masterpiece 😭 it’s her best work she’s put out. As for the song Paper Rings by Taylor Swift!.. How can you not like this song? It’s groovy and a cute song. Especially if you wanna play it at a wedding or just blast it while you are just doing your daily routine!.. False God and Afterglow are my top favorite songs off Lover!.. the vocals and the layering along with the instruments and drums. Just perfect 👌🏽 False God is a very sexy song. Just love the saxophone 🎷 I wish Taylor did more of this type of songs. We saw a different side of her. As for the current albums folklore and evermore? They are pass for me. I couldn’t get through the album at all. They just drag and gets very boring.. As much I respect Taylor trying different things. It’s just not my style of music.. I do love Cardigan. I feel like this one belong more on Lover than folklore!.. I feel like her fans will eat anything up on what she releases!.. As for the re-records go? Especially Fearless!.. she sounds amazing and I can’t even tell that her vocals had changed.. the only thing I do noticed she sounds very mature. Like I said I wasn’t a fan of Taylor’s country because it was a bit too mushy mushy for me.. I do like some of the stuff from Speak Now!.. her Pop music is more to my liking!..

I dont get it though, Maroon 5 was never really a rock band, to an outsider, they always had that 'pastel' or elevator music sound - I'd call them a straight pop band....nothing wrong with that, but its not like they started as some hard-rocking punkers who sold out and made an album of bland ballads....
