I heard the Deep Purple references, and then i scroll down and see this comment... There was also a HUGE Yngwie kind of cameo in during Castlevania's Young Noble Demon.. and then theres some parts where its like Symphony X transitions from bridge to chorus or chorus to verse :P

Hey, wait a minute, there's a few things wrong with the description.
1. Anything reading "Shin Megami" should have a "Tensei" at the end of it.
2. Anything reading "Dracula" should read "Castlevania"
3. 6:15 isn't Holy Orders?, it's Keep Yourself Alive from the same series
Other than that, this is an epic composition that SSH has done. I applaud him for this. =D

It's really quite sad that everybody always skips the non-game music bits. Deep Purple's Burn (9:50 - 10:10) and Highway Star (14:06 - 14:34) in this one, for example. If it was just a riff or 5-second segment I'd understand, but take Burn for example. That's 20 seconds, 2/3 as long as the Chocobo Theme (10:10 - 10:41, NOT 9:47 - 10:38). Does everybody just blatantly copy the wrong information from wherever they find these tunes, or what? =/
