- Peter acquired this Victorian penny-farthing bike in the 1950s. But currently no longer rideable, the Repair Shop team are helping Peter fix the unique bike for him to use again at the village festival.

I had the chance to ride a penny-farthing when I was a lot younger.
It is an acquired skill that is nothing like riding a "standard" bike.
I was always terrified riding one.

I own one of these lovely machines. They are an absolute joy to ride. One must be careful, though. A crash could do some serious damage to both the rider and the bike.
