    Also, it is a no-date which is a plus for me. I wish more Seikos have a no date dial as it preserves the symmetry better.

    How do you get the 30 to 35% off? From the boutique direct?

      Boutique will never discount. The Authorised Dealers, there are some that will be willing to discount, Seiko usually falls under the 25-30 percent off, depending on model. This for example would be around 30 percent at specific authorised dealers. It is a sad fact also that the Porcelain dial and enamel dial watches are undervalued and not many people gravitate towards them due to the higher RRP and hence discounted so the Authorised dealers can make some sale on those.     is the dial made out of traditional Chinese porcelain or German made?

      the dial here is Arita Porcelain, manufactured in Arita a small town in Japan, in Northwestern Kyushu Island. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arita_ware for more info.
