  • Conceived by Hans Ulrich Obrist, this series brings together artists with individuals who have significantly influenced their artistic practice. For this edition, artist Dora Budor, architecture historian Beatriz Colomina and architect Jacques Herzog will discuss their own and each other’s work, and how Colomina’s and Herzog's practice informs Budor's. Originally from Croatia, Budor's work explores the intertwining narratives of cinema and architecture. Beatriz Colomina, a professor at Princeton University, investigates the way we design cities in the future and how technological and digital advancements influence our living and working environments. Jacques Herzog is an architect and co-founder of Herzog & de Meuron, the world-renowned, Pritzker Prize-winning firm known for landmark buildings such as the National Stadium for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and the conversion of the Bankside power plant into Tate Modern in London, among others.
