  • The preposition O is sometimes followed by the LOCATIVE, but sometimes the ACCUSATIVE.
Normally, O is used with the LOCATIVE followed by a TOPIC/THEME. However, there are many verbs that are followed by the preposition O and then the ACCUSATIVE. That's what this series is about - you have to remember them!
In this video you will find these verbs and their perfective forms (if there are any):
    1. stát (to be interested in)
    2. volat (to call for)
    3. říkat si (to be asking for)
    4. koledovat si (to have something coming)
    5. ucházet se (to apply for / to court)
    6. hlásit se (to ask for / to demand)
    7. přicházet (to lose / to miss out on)
    8. obírat (to rob somebody of something)
    9. okrádat (to rob somebody of something)
    10. olupovat (to rob somebody of something)
