Flying up to 30m without a drone (Wiral LITE Cable Cam)

(Français ci-dessous) While the use of the drone is more and more restrictive or just impossible in certain places, the Cable Cam is an interesting alternate solution.
During concerts or sports video broadcasts, we can see curious devices that slide along overhead cables. These motorized carts can to follow the action while moving.
As an amateur radio operator (F2DX) owning large antennas, came the idea of ​​sliding the Cable Cam on a guy wire up to 30m above the ground in order to test the Wiral LITE. More conventional tests were also carried out as you can see in the 2nd part of this short video.

Alors que l'usage du drone est de plus en plus restrictif ou tout simplement impossible dans certains lieux, le Cable Cam représente une alternative intéressante.
Lors de concerts ou de retransmissions audiovisuelles sportives, on peut apercevoir de curieux appareils qui glissent le long de câbles aériens. Ces chariots motorisés permettent de suivre l’action en se déplaçant.
Mon activité de radioamateur (F2DX) me permet de disposer de grandes antennes, d'où l'idée de faire coulisser le Cable Cam sur un hauban à 30m de haut afin de tester le Wiral LITE. D'autres essais plus conventionnels ont également été réalisés comme vous pourrez le voir dans la 2ème partie de cette courte vidéo.
