You know at first I liked JC but then he suddenly disappeared and I was like huh wtf. Idk if he is coming back on season 2 (I hope not, I mean I don't care at all).

Beatrice is such an interesting character, she's logical yet compassionate, badass but not in a in your face type of way. Kristina Tonteri-Young does a marvelous job as Sister Beatrice. The coming-out scene, without you know actually coming-out, was breath-taking. God, I hope the showrunners do this right.
That's the way of doing it, not pushing it. Make it natural, make them fall for each other slowly.

I liked Beatrice's character. When Ava was outcast from the group she actually wasn't mean to her at the dinner table. Beatrice being such a badass is just icing on the cake! I also liked the part where Ava hugged her. It was just nice -- she actually felt safe with someone.

I felt like the whole point of JC was to contrast real life vs. concepts and expectations of life that we are made to live by. Ava just uses JC to catch up with a concept of teenage life she learned from films and books. JC cannot truly "save" her but Beatrice can by helping her to face her fears and only the sisters give Ava a true sense of belonging.

i watched the entire season in on night and the way ava and beatrice relation develop is amazing, the writer did an amazing job on their scene and i hope they continuous to develop this pair in an organic e natural way as they did this season

Episode 7&8 are biiiig hints aaaa! The way Ava looks at Beatrice, especially at that scene where Bea was touching her face. She felt the tension, it was the perfect time to kiss lmao and the way she felt awkward after. She wouldn't have diverted her eyes like that if she didn't feel anything different.

This show got me into thinking, from his complex characters to unleashing the truth about religion, faith, and power. I've grown to love Beatrice, strictly because she seems different. Her sexuality shouldn't completely define her, as opposed to the fact that she struggled her whole life with freedom. She found a better family there, with the sisters rather than with her parents. I love the part with the storytelling, it was empowering, how she read the text, indirectly speaking her truth. Her whole life, all she had were rules, paths to take, never choosing who she should become. The story felt personal to me, I discovered myself in her lines, in her unspeakable desire. I hope the writers continue this path and develop her into the person she seeks to be.
The scene where Bea is going to hold her head during the hug which would be like a person comforting another in a familial way... But then changes it to hugging her closer?? I am seeing 👀
I think they made it clear that beatrice could like ava in that way, but I also think that ava is lowkey crushing on beatrice (or at least I hope, they are so cute toghether oh my)

I have no idea who these women are but I can see such an intense bond between them. I have heard of the show and seen some gifsets on Tumblr of this pairing but I had no idea just how right everyone was. So, she wasn't aware that she can be attracted to girls as well. I'm assuming she started to develop feelings for Beatrice (and a deeper one, not shallow like JC) on the way after getting closer to her. And I think, the moment she first realized it was back at that time where Beatrice was touching her face lmao. She looked flustered, must've felt that tension aka the perfect time to kiss.
