I am currently planning my first trip to the area. This video was wonderfully done and quite factual. I really appreciate the botanical information. As a photographer, wildflower lover, rockhounder, and nature lover, I can appreciate all the work that went into making this. I have lived in Oregon most of my life and have never been to this part of the state. What a treasure.......

Interesting and informative production. Thank you! We will traveling into the Owyhee country next spring and gather from this video that May or June, depending on how wet the spring is, would be the best time. Last time I was in the area was 1979 on a geology field trip, which was more focused on the South Mountain area. Looking forward to a great time exploring, hiking, photographing and being in the area. Thanks again.

Grew up in Tillamook, OR but I'll be damned if I haven't fallen in utter love with Owyhee Country.

Great video. Just stumbled upon it by chance. Going up to the Owyhees this week to rockhound, Tuesday-Thursday. Crazy that it’s only about a 45 minute drive from my home but haven’t explored there yet. I truly appreciate your video. Very excited to see what rocks I can find in all the areas I’m going to. I’ll go back I expect at least a few times a month as I explore more and more of this beautiful area and terrain.
