I think the reason your computer is not exploding from the amount of units and troops is because the game traded handling large numbers for questionable logistics

Developers here! UEBS2 runs all the AI on the GPU, there were no sacrifices made to intelligence from the first one, in fact they are about 10x more intelligent and capable(Including auto flanking which no other RTS has). One thing DruuWu didn't try was RTS mode, there is full drag select unit ordering now! Watch our video on RTS ordering if you want a better understanding of the tech!

Really enjoyed the video! Quick suggestion, uebs2 can handle millions of characters on screen, even tens of millions with high end GPUs. Try bigger battles, you won't be disappointed!
Does Units have other special factors like armor? Or are they all health? It would be cool if we could have tank battle in the thousands and have things like ricochet mechanic.

This game probably only considers damage values no matter the enemy.
Neither archers nor musketeers can penetrate a tank. Even a days worth of direct hits would only scratch or dent the armor very slightly.

You can easily recognize a Spartan/Peloponnese shield : it has a symbol on it, the Λ, Greek letter, which stands for what Peloponnese coalition/Spartans called themselves "Λακεδαιμονιοι" like "Athenians"
