Make a Tiny 3/4 Inch Doll's Doll - Mini English Wooden Doll Reproduction

  • My two Doll children in my Jane Austen-era Late Georgian Roombox received a Doll this Christmas but they couldn't stop arguing over who's turn it was to play with it, so another doll had to be made to have some compassion on their Mama's poor nerves. I carved both dolls from the same basswood rectangular dowel from the hobby store and dressed them in scraps of fabric and trim. Their arms move. Their tiny faces are painted. If you make some tiny dolls after watching this, please tag me so I can see your creations. Happy New Year!

Super cute little doll. Your design is great. I found the music to be very distracting. I enjoyed your video. Thank you for sharing.

I have absolutely horrible eyesight and have worn glasses since I was 6. I definitely recommend a magnifying light- it really helps me when working with really small items. I am working on a holiday gift guide video for miniaturists and dollmakers and I will be including magnifying tools in that video so stay tuned for that!

I have bone on bone arthritis in 3 joints in my right hand and 2 on my left. It's definitely scary as a person for whom creating things is essential to life. I am planning on doing a video on tools for arthritic creators with bad eyesight (bifocals since I was 6 years old!) when I get settled after my move. Thanks for sharing and subscribing!!!!

I may need to re-upload this at a higher quality. It seems blurry to me. Is it blurry to you?
