Good to finally start seeing more videos from Ford Championship winning years. There's little to nothing of the 1993, 1995, 2010, 2015 or 2018-20 seasons here. At least we have some of 1997 and 2002-2004. Are you only allowed to show 'supercars' from 1997 forward? Those early 5.0 Litre years were truly inspirational. I'm looking forward to much much more though guys. Several other years look to almost be complete now. 2010 would be good to re-watch considering it ws so close at the end.

I feel like they interview the entire paddock instead of capturing the emotion and "thee moment" of Webb's career, his first win!
The funniest was when they took off whincups wheels they were saying it doesn't look that bad and then you see the rotor split in half.
Those are the races motor racing should be all about. Entertaining chaos 'til the end and a completely unexpected result. I'd really like to have seen interviews with all the drivers involved with this one.

@@harrywalker968 no up to 2012 it was a road chassis called project blueprint then 2013 onwards is a full blown tube chassis

This is a good race with plenty of drama in it thank you for the upload I really appreciate it I would love to see more of these races released on CZcams as I’m really enjoying watching them and would love to watch some more timeless classics

I wish they would bring back the race at Homebush, it is so close to where I live and would be amazing to listen to when passing nearby the area.
Can’t happen I’m afraid, changes to Olympic Park mean this layout isn’t possible anymore

Slicks on wets. That's what happens
The race turned out to be that old fable " The Tortoise and the Rabbit " race
All the Rabbits took off for 2/3 thirds of the race and in the end the Tortoise calmly
crosses the finish line in Stave Bradbury style 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

They said only 1997 to 2014 would be done. Will be due to tv rights. I belive they are doing 2015 aswell but geoblocked for aussies

I live in uk and it was this race that got me hooked on v8 supercars. I even have a Holden commodore now

And then Courtney took the #1 to another team. It’s like a race car soap opera.
That sucked so much...I wanted Ford to get the #1 back

The Red Bull cars were 5 times superior than the rest for years !
When McLaughlin won his first championship,he did it in a tired old ford !
Then the following years it was easier, he whipped all as the Ford Mustang was unbeatable
but his first championship was done on talent not car !
GMH won all those races up to 2017 then when the invincible Mustang came along,
GMH carrying on like a spoilt brat complained that the Mustang needs to be heavily handicapped !
So the rear spoiler was trimmed but it kept winning, so the front spoiler had to be raised
and it kept winning,then 41 kilos had to be added to the car
(GMH only had to add 7 kilos to their car)
Ford put all that 41 kilos into the roof lining and it kept winning races ! This season Mustang v Camaro will be absolutely fantastic !

That race should have been stopped and Red flagged as soon as the rain came down
It's no good running Rear wheel drive V8 supercars in slippery wet conditions on slicks
I think that it's all about the excitement and drama and not safety
Geez someone could have been seriously hurt
Luckily no one was but I think that safety is much more important than who wins the championship
This race wasn't even the final one
Apparently there was another one the next day
They chose to stay out on wets. can't really say it was a safety issue if teams had the tyres to drive safely but chose not to.
Boring put Hondas and Toyota out there. Then you would 👀 a great 👍
they had to de tune there engines to holden std,s.. thats why they all left..
So it's just bumper cars with unskilled driver.🙄 Got it.
