I always thought garp would have crazy strong haki but at no point did I expect him to show up and punch the sky so hard the sky he punched does the punching for him.

I think it's funny everybody is like " ohh Garp confirmed Conqueror" lol chill that's something everybody should know by now. You don't become the ONLY true rival to Roger without having all forms of haki . That's like being surprised that Rocks will have it to or etc. I do think it's pretty amazing to see it in action tho looks dope and different from we see other just haki users do.
this is the first haki emission feat without a sword. that's pretty significant. i makes me think that coc haki coating may just be more than just a different type of coating for your attack. it may differ from armament in that you can fire it from your body in destructive blasts.
Luffy actaully used what Garp used in chapter 955.

Based on what Garp said back when he was throwing cannon balls at Luffy, it was estimated that he's only about half as strong as he was during his prime. But despite this recent feat, I doubt that he's stronger than even Luffy and BB at this point due to his age. But he's still strong enough to give both a beating, though!

I was pretty skeptical about Garp's power. I mean, yeah, going toe to toe with some of the most legendary pirates and being one of the only people to rival The Pirate King was one thing, but how many characters have we seen that would give the future Pirate King (Luffy) a run for his money? Anyways, this man punching the F-CKING SKY is already one of the best feats in the series. Can't imagine how The Blackbeard Pirates are gonna handle this...
I feel like people should’ve been less surprised. Garp’s prime was clearly better than whitebeard, and we saw what whitebeard could do while he was old with cancer. Garp being capable of this makes perfect sense to me
The marines will definitely take a beating but I believe they will succeed in saving Coby. However, I think Sengoku will arrive to aid Garp , and the two will sacrifice themselves to save the slaves and the remaining members of Sword. Black Beard would then have both Sengoku and Garp prostrated for live execution.
