Julian Harris according to their Twitter, they're just about to wrap up mixing
probably sometime in the fall, it takes about 3 months for an album to come out after its all wrapped up, can't wait for more art from MGMT, love how Andrew writes abstract poetic lyrics, and the music is just always well crafted

Lu Thanks for the tip. I usually have a really nice camera I use to record concerts. This festival unfortunately had a dumb no camera policy this year. This is the first time I've ever used my cell phone to record a concert.

Man, I'm going to miss Will. He was a great player and fit in so well with the band. This guy seems cool though. I wonder if there was some sort of tension or disagreement over their new sound leading to members leaving? Hm?
Will is the drummer and he's still there.
Matt is the one who we see replaced here by Simon.
Nothing is known for certain yet, it could just be a one-off show that Matt couldn't get to see Simon filled in for him.
Also, Simon is just up and coming with his own band so I don't know if he would go and devote all his time to touring with MGMT which further leads me to believe that this was just a temporary substitution.

Tanner Buckley Considering Andrew and Ben are mgmt in the studio I doubt a change in sound would make a touring member leave. He probably had other commitments or projects.
Keithider Thinking that sounds accurate man. I will be seeing them at 80/35 in Des Moines in a couple of months. The fest is about 1.5 miles from my apartment. Im volunteering both mornings, so Ill be seeing MGMT and The Shins for free. 2013s show from MGMT in DSM was amazing.
