I think liminal is meant for both the living to transition without their loved ones and for the dead to transition to whatever passes for an afterlife or next life.
I guess someone else to talk to would offer a new opinion or approach to the confusing answers and sayings of the fox. So I would say it can only be beneficial. Even if it was one of these little white figurine guys. ;) (“I can see your bellybutton“)

Yes, I think I will go with the Someone else to Talk to option. The holding more fruit option doesn't seem all that useful :/ I still wonder how having more rats follow me would beneficial.
Maybe some rat friends here and there won't hurt and could be beneficial of too many if them come together... who knows...
