  • In honor of Memorial Day,
I tried completing 7 consecutive MURPH workouts in a week.
The MURPH is based on the tragic, but inspiring story of hero Michael P. Murphy. Him, along with most of his other crew members in the Red Wings, were killed on duty.
Each Memorial Day, this workout is dedicated to all fallen soldiers for all their sacrifices they made/make for our country.
    The MURPH workout consists of:
    1 mile run
    100 pull-ups
    200 pushups
    300 squats
    1 mile run
This was a tough, and meaningful challenge! I hope you enjoyed!
Thank you to all past + current military personnel!

No, I don’t have any crossfit background. I train a little bit of calisthenics, but I mostly just train with weights. The beauty of it is that you could go at your own pace; you don’t have to necessarily do it every day. You could do it every other day or a couple times a week or a little bit every day. I recommend just setting small goals each day and listen to your body along the process
